After searching for an hour, we searched up this restaurant. It had a good rating and a small wait. My 2 grown boys, their girlfriends and I ate there last night. The food was AWFUL!! The guacamole was more tomatoes and onions than avocado, chori-queso was not sausage- I swear it was sage flavored ground beef with almost no quest, steaks were mostly fat, rare and tough, flautas were greasy and bland, sour cream tasted like it had gone bad. $88 for food that left the 5 of us nauseous and with stomach aches. Didnât eat my meal because it tasted so horrible and the manager seemed personally offended!! I was forced to pay for an entree that went into the trash. I dislike Chicoâs, but Iâm sure that would have been better. I wonât be back. I wouldnât recommend their food as dog food even. Skip by this restaurant if youâre looking for anything near authentic Mexican food. Your stomach will thank you- your...
Read moreI have been to this restaurant many many times and have spent thousands of dollars there but last night the waitress who has been there the whole time was horrible. She brought my son the wrong order and then got upset when I sent it back. Then since I ordered a burrito and he ordered 2 beef tacos they charged us for each individual basket of chips. Saying that it wasnât a meal and that the chips only come with the meal. That had never happened until now in the many years that I had been going to the restaurant. My bill was over 20 bucks for both of us and we didnât get much. Got waters for our drink. Im. Or mad but they have definitely lost my business forever. Itâs one thing to tel me about charges up front and let me decide and itâs another just to charge me after the fact. Thatâs being dishonest and Iâm not going to give my money to a...
Read moreI came here needing a treat during a hard day, and the service and food made me feel much better. My server Jose took great care of me, and my vegan needs. I got the #6 vegetarian meal, with substitutions to make it vegan: bean burrito (no cheese) with red sauce, quesadilla with onions and zucchini (instead of cheese), generous portion of sliced avocado instead of guacamole salad (since the guac has dairy), side of black beans (instead of rice, since it has chicken seasoning). They play lively and happy Mexican music, and the ambiance is lovely. The backs of the booths are very high so you feel private with your party if you're with others. The chips are thicker than I would like. The salsa satisfied my salsa craving. All in all, a good choice at a reasonable price! I hope Jose is your server....
