I came here needing a treat during a hard day, and the service and food made me feel much better. My server Jose took great care of me, and my vegan needs. I got the #6 vegetarian meal, with substitutions to make it vegan: bean burrito (no cheese) with red sauce, quesadilla with onions and zucchini (instead of cheese), generous portion of sliced avocado instead of guacamole salad (since the guac has dairy), side of black beans (instead of rice, since it has chicken seasoning). They play lively and happy Mexican music, and the ambiance is lovely. The backs of the booths are very high so you feel private with your party if you're with others. The chips are thicker than I would like. The salsa satisfied my salsa craving. All in all, a good choice at a reasonable price! I hope Jose is your server. He's the best!

We visited on a Sunday at lunch. We were seated quickly. It was fairly busy. Service was good. I asked for lime for my water and got half of a lime. The food was average for a Mexican restaurant. I had the shrimp chimichanga. The ones I have had in the past were fried and crispy, this was not. The shrimp were grilled well. Chips brought to the table were on the thicker side and were not served warm. Some restaurants served them warm and I have found that I prefer that.

Got take out from Greenville NC. Ordered Steak Ranchero for take out - said it was rib eye and got a thin, overcooked flank steak. Ordered chorizo queso - got crumbled chorizo with remnants of minutia quantities of queso. Go to La Fiesta in Tarboro. Much better quality of food.

After searching for an hour, we searched up this restaurant. It had a good rating and a small wait. My 2 grown boys, their girlfriends and I ate there last night. The food was AWFUL!! The guacamole was more tomatoes and onions than avocado, chori-queso was not sausage- I swear it was sage flavored ground beef with almost no quest, steaks were mostly fat, rare and tough, flautas were greasy and bland, sour cream tasted like it had gone bad. $88 for food that left the 5 of us nauseous and with stomach aches. Didn’t eat my meal because it tasted so horrible and the manager seemed personally offended!! I was forced to pay for an entree that went into the trash. I dislike Chico’s, but I’m sure that would have been better. I won’t be back. I wouldn’t recommend their food as dog food even. Skip by this restaurant if you’re looking for anything near authentic Mexican food. Your stomach will thank you- your...

I have been to this restaurant many many times and have spent thousands of dollars there but last night the waitress who has been there the whole time was horrible. She brought my son the wrong order and then got upset when I sent it back. Then since I ordered a burrito and he ordered 2 beef tacos they charged us for each individual basket of chips. Saying that it wasn’t a meal and that the chips only come with the meal. That had never happened until now in the many years that I had been going to the restaurant. My bill was over 20 bucks for both of us and we didn’t get much. Got waters for our drink. Im. Or mad but they have definitely lost my business forever. It’s one thing to tel me about charges up front and let me decide and it’s another just to charge me after the fact. That’s being dishonest and I’m not going to give my money to a...
