3.5 Stars. Food was good but not great. It was their first night open so I will certainly cut them some slack. Just about every dish needed more salt. My favorite taco was the carnitas as it was moist and the only one that was well seasoned. The carne asada while tender and cooked well was lacking flavor. The birria taco was ok. I enjoyed it, but it too was missing salt and a little more spice and acid.
The salsa and guacamole could have used more salt, acid, and heat. I ordered the guacamole spicy and did not detect any semblance of spice. The side order of rice and beans also needed salt but overall had a good flavor. Even their hot sauce that they included needed more heat!
My wife got the chopped salad with the green goddess dressing and really enjoyed that. I tried it and thought that was spot on and would definitely order that again.
While this review was somewhat critical I did not think it was a bad meal. I hope they see this, take the feedback, and season their food more! It was also their first night and it was PACKED when I got there to pick up my food so I’m sure they were in the weeds and rushing to get all the food out. I will definitely be back to try again, but will give them a few weeks to get the kinks out. Definitely happy I tried it, it’s great to have them around and wish them the best of luck with their...

Read moreThis place was great. The food was fresh and plentiful. We stopped for a late lunch and didn’t realize that this spot is more of a take out place, but they have little counter against the window with around 8 stools and it’s actually a really nice atmosphere. Definitely has a quick takeout/hole in the wall vibe, but it’s bright by the counter, the place has a nice aesthetic.
You order at the till and the food is made to order in the back and they bring your food out to you. We got the nachos, the fish taco bowl (which was a special) and the shrimp fajitas. All the food was bright, fresh and delicious. The fish was cooked very nicely and had great seasoning. Overall, the food was great.
We had so much food we took leftovers home. It wasn’t just that we got a lot of food, it was that it was delicious as well. And the staff was really nice and attentive.
This place was exactly right for what it is. Delicious, quick, easy, with quality...
