This resturant use to be my family’s go to resturant for Japanese food. It has gone bad… FAST. The waiters change every week and whenever I order something on the menu they act confused that they serve it. A table next to mine waited 27 minutes to just get just water. I ordered a club soda and they brought me a Sprite. My mother ordered rock shrimp and they brought out fried calamari. My father ordered chicken teriyaki with extra sauce on the side. They brought out chicken and broccoli with a soup bowl of sauce and it wasn’t even teriyaki! This is unbelievable!!

I live around the corner and my family gets take out here almost once a week. Typically I like to order a bunch of apps, but have enjoyed a lot of their entrees as well. Some of my favorites are the Wok Seared Filet, the Rock Shrimp (pro-tip I order this app instead of the Crispy Walnut Shrimp then I get a side of Sushi Rice) the Pork Fried Gyoza, and the Scallion Pancakes. If you really want to get crazy I've been known to throw a piece of steak and shrimp on a pancake and dip it in the dumpling sauce. #tellemmikesentyou

Excellent prices and along with great wide selection - you can’t get better than that in Greenwich - the service was good - though he had a little bit of difficulty speaking English - this is a Chinese owned and operated restaurant hence their prices are cheaper and the food isn’t as detailed and delicate as Japanese owned Japanese restaurant but all in all I was quite impressed so definitely will be back

I live locally and love Asian cuisine. I have dined at Bamboo Asian Tapas in Glenville, CT and ordered take out. While my food when dining in has been very good my experience with take out has been disappointing.

  1. Food delivered to wrong address. Neighbor had to hope it was us, and delivered to our door.

  2. Ordered Yellow Tail & Scallion roll and almost choked on a BONE. Not cool!

  3. Last experience, 6/24th/2021. Brought a large take out order to family, a special celebration for us. My son started to eat his Steamed Lobster roll and stopped to show us the black hair he found in the roll. I was so embarrassed and needless to say no one enjoyed any of their food after that.

Revising my review taking away one star. Just got a delivery and the tuna is not fresh! Yuck! I've been going here for years, through many management changes. When the Manager Ellen has to ask the sushi chef whether or not to charge extra for the slightest change, after also being harrassed over a $3.00 extra charge, they make up for the 'waived' charge by charging me $3.50 for a tiny bowl of sushi rice! They are not smart business people nor do they treat their customers with respect. What they gained on the extra sushi rice charge, they've lost $100's in business! Otherwise, food is ok. Did a phone order for 4 people for lunch. Wanted to order the sweetheart special roll for two of the lunches, but they went not available, so I ordered two king Crab with tuna special rolls. We got California rolls instead. Granted, they charged us the correct amount, but after a 2-hour wait the tiny California roll was not enough for lunch. I called and asked if they could deliver 2 of the correct rolls, and we would pay for them, and they told me NO it was my mistake and I should eat what I got, and they hung up on me.
