Captain D's — Restaurant in Greenwood

Greenwood, MS I love CDs and try to eat at one if it's near me. I've been going since the Grenville one opened. I'm 57 now. On this visit, I ordered 3 meals one being a seafood platter and all having fish. There were no condiments in the lobby. I asked for ten tarter sauce packets and the cashier refused. I said none are in the lobby she said folks steal. I asked for a manager, but the manager refused at first saying that 10 was extreme, I told her I could pay and that I know what it takes for me to eat my meal. I asked if ketchup was in the bag she said yes. Got home there were 4 packets no napkins and no eating utensils. She put the tartar sauce in the bag and went straight to the back. Not caring if I had what I needed. Less than 2 weeks ago I stopped by the one in Clinton and the difference in service was like day and night. I was greeted with a smile by coming in and going out. I purchased 2- 2piece catfish dinners with 2 sides (okra and string beans). I paid almost $19 for both meals. I checked my food at the window only to learn I had 1 small piece of catfish cut in half. O brought to to the cashier Attention. She argued the point with me saying that is how the fish come now. This isn't the first time this happened at the Caption Ds in Greenwood Mississippi. After driver 1 1/2 hours home from work I did not feel like parking and going inside the crowded restaurant. The manager in the past stated she had spoken with the workers about that before. I see now it didn't accomplish nothing. Yes, I am an unsatisfied customer....

Went to Captain D's on March 21st, 2025 after anticipating the visit for my first since leaving town in 2005. Wife and made our orders inside. We ordered the Sampler platter with fries and green beans which came out cold. We ordered a soft drink at $3.09 and was told after we paid that the ice machine was out of order. We paid with a debit card and was informed that it would show back into the account in 3 to 5 days. We wanted to cancel the order but the cashier had the cooks remake the order which was confused with someone else. We received the order and had to pay again with cash and the food was awful.
