This place has the rudest employees ever. I went to this location tonight. I asked for sweet tea, but they stated they were out of tea which was ok. The cashier that took my order didn't sound so friendly when taking my order. Got to the window to pay. I was not greeted; she didn't give me my total. When she handed me my food, I informed the cashier that she didn't give me my card back the employee said "yes I did, it is sticking out the side of your box. I was mad at this point because that is absolutely disgusting because the cashier touches money, cards, and other things that are full of germs. When I got home to eat my food, the fries were completely soggy, BBQ sandwich looks like the BBQ was made yesterday it was completely dry, and the chicken ranch wrap was dry as well. This cookout location use to be really good but it has gone downhill. I swear people don't care about the quality of food or their customers they are there for one thing and that is A PAYCHECK. The cashier that was at the window working tonight was Jasmin according to the ticket. Corporate needs to do a visit at this restaurant and get it together before the employees run it down into the ground even more. Oh, btw when I was sitting in drive thru the back door was propped open. Which is a big safety hazard for staff. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS COOKOUT UNLESS CORPORATE, AND OR THE STORE MANAGER MAKES SOME BIG...
Read moreUpdated review (02/21/21) Good tasting burger, fries, onion rings, slaw & chocolate shake, BUT on our plate that had French fries, there was ONLY 8-10 fries - that's it. Then to add insult to shame, the plate that had onion rings with the burger, there was 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 onion rings! 4 and that's all. Felt very cheated. I know a lot of places are having cash flow issues, but to cut food portions back to this is ridiculous. Probably want go back (for at least a while, maybe a long time - will have to wait and see). Very disappointed!!!
Updated review (4/24/19): Great tasting food (burger, fries & the slaw was to die for!!) We have eaten at Cookout and the food is always good. Happen to notice this time that the meat on my burger was way smaller than before - the onion slices on the burger was larger than the meat. This would have made a better slider than a burger. :( Also, the order takers were propped up on the register like they were bored. But what really caused me to shake my head, was that I ordered a "Cheeseburger" with mayo and onions, and got asked do you want cheese. Really??? Just seems natural to me. If I didnt want the cheese, wouldnt I order a hamburger instead? Go figure! Again, good food, just slightly disappointed - but good food!

Read moreI come to this location a lot because it is close to school. Besides the long wait in the drive thru, I'd never really experienced an issue before. So I try to order. After I say the main part of the tray, the girl asks for the two side and the drink. So I say them and apparently all she heard was cookout rounds and get so preoccupied with not having them that she just didn't listen to the rest of what I said. Thank God she at least asked about the drink so I could correct her, because I do not drink tea. But I got fries instead of chicken nuggets. I dont like fries. If I hadn't been in a hurry to get to class, I would have tried to fix the matter. But I just don't understand. If you dont hear what a customer says, ask them to repeat it. They shouldn't just make up an order for you. That's stupid and potentially dangerous. Seems like that should have been part of the training. But then again, after reading other reviews, it honestly doesn't seem like training happens here at all. This actually makes me want to take my lunch needs elsewhere. At least at any other fast food place in the area, they ask you to repeat yourself if they didn't hear or understand what...
