Tonight I placed an online order for the first time here. Even though I typed in the correct delivery address they gave the driver the wrong address. They called me and asked if my residence was an apartment or a house and I gave them the correct details. The driver was actually pulling out of my driveway as I was on the phone with them. 10 minutes later I called them back because he hadn't come back yet. After 20 minutes the driver showed up with my food (that's when he showed me that the receipt said a different house number, I checked online and on my email confirmation and both had my correct address, so it looked like someone on their end typed it in wrong). So my food was cold by the time it got here, which I was okay with, I can heat it up.
Well then as I opened my food I realized they sent me some kind of beef meal instead of my General Tso's chicken. Which I am allergic to beef so I cannot eat it. I called them again and told them the issue. I asked if I could get the chicken delivered to me and they said they couldn't tonight but they could credit my account for the chicken for another day.
So now it's 7pm and I have to figure out what I can eat for dinner tonight. I ordered out tonight because I haven't gone grocery shopping and had a lot to do tonight. Now I'm changing my whole plans for tonight to cook something to go with my soup and noodles. I was almost tempted to drive over to the restaurant to get the correct food but didn't feel like it was worth it as it's too much of a hassle tonight.
The other food I ordered with my chicken taste good and the driver was polite. I'm sure my chicken would have tasted good too. Next time I think I will just go into the restaurant (I only live a mile away) and get the food Togo so that I can get it quicker and make sure it is correct.
My suggestion to the restaurant would be to check everything for accuracy before sending out food...
Read moreWe ordered food here a few days ago and we all got sick so I called the restaurant around 5 to let them know and the manager’s reaction was not very pleasant and did not even say sorry. I told her I called just to warn them so they can either check with their kitchen staff or inspect the food and trying to stop other people from getting sick. She sounded very defensive and told me it can’t be their food and that many people have ordered and no one has called to say anything. She told me to go to the doctor and get checked because they also have “insurance” which I don’t understand. I kept telling her I am not trying to make a fuss or get a refund or anything but I am just trying to let them know 3 people have gotten sick. While our baby had their soup and was find. Luckily she did not have what we had and it would have been bad.
I have ordered at this place in the past so we are actually very loyal and I’d say starting to be a regular customer but I was very disappointed at their reaction. All I wanted to hear was…maybe sorry and will check with the kitchen staff or something but to be absolutely sure it is not their food (when that was all we had that day - we don’t eat breakfast and we got the food for lunch as our first meal of the day) without even doing an extra step is very disappointing and now I can’t trust this place to at least care what their customers are eating whether it’s gonna make them sick or not. I have been thinking a lot whether to leave a review or not but I just felt it...
Read moreIt was a toss-up between 3 and 4 stars but probably closer to 3.
Let me start off saying we don't do Chinese much because it's hard to find good. Dragon Den used to be our place, and they closed, and this place came recommended.
So upon walking in, the front entrance was very small and cramped. Between waiting to be seated and people there waiting for pick up orders, it was very small, almost uncomfortable.
We were seated relatively quickly, and our drink order was taken as soon as we sat down. I was thinking so far so good. Little did I know it would go downhill from there.
Crab Rangoon is a favorite of ours, so we always have to try that anywhere we go. We'll, it was mediocre at best. It was at least warm, but it wasn't very flavorful. The eggrolls were just okay, nothing special. Not like Dragon Den! Now, onto the food... I ordered the chicken with mushrooms. It was actually pretty good. The food was hot, and the portion was plenty. My husband had the house fried rice. Once again, the portion was plenty, hot, and decent.
Now, onto the service! Once seated and served our drinks and food, we were never checked on again. Our cups sat empty for most of our visit until I could find somebody and somewhat rudely flag them down to get some refills.
I'm not sure what everyone sees in this place because I sure don't see it. I went here once, and that was enough. I will...
