Excellent Fusion Asian. We took a chance and it paid off; we loved it! Decent size, tastefully decorated, long bar, very clean. Decent waitstaff, timed our dishes as requested. We started with hot and sour soup that was exceptional. Smoky, perfect balance of heat and flavors. Generous with ingredients. Best hot & sour soup Iâve had anywhere, including NY. Very nice glass of plum wine. We then had the veggie tempura. Very generous with an excellent selection of veggies, one each of sweet potato slice, onion, zucchini, good sized mushroom, asparagus spear and a broccoli florets. All decent sizes, but it was a bit greasy.
Our entrees were, for my husband, udon noodles with mixed veggies in a very light sauce. Very generous with an excellent mix of veggies and thick udon noodles. Decent amount. I had a chefâs special dish, dragon and Pheonix. That consisted of General Tao chicken and garlic shrimp. Again, very generous with the veggies, delightful sauces, great balance of heat and sweet, beautifully presented. A chefâs special comes with soup or salad, (I had soup) white rice or you can opt for $1 more, fried rice, that unlike most places that serve white rice with soy sauce for fried rice, this actually had veggies in it and was what it was supposed to be. Total cost $60 with tip. An excellent meal all around. We look forward to trying many...
Read moreThis is our go-to Asian take out! My favorite menu items are the veggie mei-fun and hibachi steak. For the mei fun, I like both the original and singapore (curry) style, but I usually get original. If you're someone who likes asian noodles and specifically likes oodles of thin noodles (like angel hair thin with the abundance of ramen) this is a winner. I also REALLY like the mongolian beef - great flavor - but I feel like its disproportionately heavy on the veggies and light on the beef. The fried rice is good and worth the $1 upcharge. If you're a lo mein person, the lo mein is good, but I'd recommend trying out the hibachi noodles - lots of great flavor. We've tried the sesame chicken, general tsos chicken, and orange chicken (which are all breaded chickens in some sort of sweet asian sauce) and my husband and I agree that the sesame is the clear winner of the three. My go-to order at asian restaurants is usually kung pao chicken, but I don't care for this restaurant's version - feels like it's lacking ingredients. Haven't tried the pho yet but I hear it's really good. If they added bubble tea to their menu, I would die happy. Delivery is typically quick, but we only live 5...
Read moreI recently visited Lin's Asian Cafe in Greer SC and had a delightful experience. The restaurant serves authentic Asian cuisine, and one of their popular dishes is the lunch General Tso's chicken plate. It's no surprise that it's a customer favorite, as the plate is generously portioned and comes with rice and a side of steamed vegetables.
The chicken was cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sweet and spicy flavors of the chicken were balanced perfectly, and the sauce was just the right consistency, not too overpowering, making it an excellent complement to the dish.
The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and inviting, with friendly and attentive staff who provided excellent service. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous, making it an excellent value for money.
Overall, I highly recommend the General Tso's chicken plate at Lin's Asian Cafe for anyone looking for a satisfying and delicious lunch option. The food was consistently good, and the service was top-notch, making it an excellent dining experience. I will definitely be returning to try more of their authentic...
