I have worked nearby this Subway for years, and have picked up through the drive thru many times. I've noticed the manager's poor customer service and curt/rude way of dealing with people again and again, and often felt bad for the employees having to work in that environment. However, because of the convenience factor, I've continued to eat here on occasion, because I thought of it as a healthier option. After today though... I'm done. I went through the drive thru and waited about five minutes with no one coming on the speaker, so I drove around to the window. Didn't think that was a big deal, figured they were just busy. When I got to the window, I ordered a Cali wrap. They didn't ask if I wanted a six-inch or footlong, they just went ahead and made a footlong, I guess. I realized while waiting that I didn't have my card with me, but I did have $8.00 in cash, which I figured would be enough. Y'all, they wanted $13 for a wrap. I told the cashier I only had $8. I asked him if I should just leave, or could the manager work something out? The cashier spoke to the manager and came back to say there was nothing he could do. I know it wasn't his fault, and that he was just following orders. But I mean... I would've taken just a six-inch? There's nothing you can do to keep a customer?    Read moreCame at 7:20pm on a Sunday, waited in line at the drive through for about 10-15 minutes for the car in front of me order to be taken so I could order. There were customers inside, so I figured thatâs what the wait was. Then the car in front of me finally ordered and pulled around and I pulled up and the kid working told me they were closed. I asked when they closed because I know this isnât in compliance with their hours of operation and their welcome open sign was literally on when I got there. âWeâre closing early todayâ Well maybe post a sign somewhere so people donât waste their time sitting in your ridiculously slow drive through. So I told him I had been waiting for a while and all he had to say was âSorry. Weâre closedâ. The car in front of me got their order taken and pulled around, but I guess Iâm not as valuable as a customer? Or an inconvenience to the workers? As someone who works in management, anytime we have to close early we always make sure to take everyone in line and clearly make it known to customers of the inconvenience to not waste their time. I told her no, I needed to be refunded immediately.. She then tells me that she refuses to give me my money. I called the police.. Then here comes the lady driving up before the police gets there.. She drove around n kept going.. When the police gets there she comes back n try to talk to them before I do.. The police comes to talk to me and tell me itâs a civil suit and they canât make her return my money (I never took the food)⌠I asked the young lady who WAS wearing a mask to remake my sandwich..
