The service was awfully non-existent, the food was subpar, and not all items were included on the plate. My son, 13, and I were sat with 1 menu. The waitress repeatedly called us ladies even though I said "my son" and "he," but she also asked if we were on the same ticket. He does not look older. We ordered a sweet tea and oreo cookie shake, cheese bites, grilled salmon with mash potatoes and broccoli (as it comes), a 2 for $25 with spinach and artichoke dip and 2 Fiesta lime chicken woth one packed to go so we could take it home for later. The waitress did not return until after all the food had been delivered by multiple other people and we only received the sweet tea. I was waiting for someone to stop or come close long enough to ask where the shake was, and for a refill or even just a second tea or a water.. anything so we could both eat! The salmon dinner was fine and nothing was missing there and he ate it. Both Fiesta lime chicken were on plates with no mexi-ranch sauce, a sad amount of rice, and NO Pico de Gallo or lime. One chicken was charred badly on the underside, which wasn't noticed until home to heat up. The bartender got us a refill on the tea. The waitress finally showed back up and I asked for boxes, the mexi-ranch(x2) & Pico (x2), a side of queso, the oreo shake to be removed as we never received it and the cheque so we could leave. She got the pink shirt lady(maybe manager) who came and asked if we wanted the shake they'd not charge for it, and I said, "No, we do not want it now. We just want the other items and the check." She took the empty blender to the back and put ice cream in it and told the bartender to fix the shake and take it to us before she went to fix the cheque. When the bartender brought the shake, we respectfully refused and told her she shouldn't have been made to make it either, as I had said we no longer wanted it. When the bill came to my surprise, we had been comped for the cheese bites appetizer, but I was charged for the Pico de Gallo and the mexi-ranch sauce (x1 each). It took 20 minutes for those missing "condiments" to finally get to us, and as suspected, we only got one of each along with the tiny queso. It took another 10 minutes to get the second ones, which was also the length of time it took for my card to be charged. Absolutely will never ever stop there again. I understand that sometimes things aren't 100%, but ours wasn't the only table with missing items from entre plates or service issues including the people we were sat beside who I heard had waited over 35 minutes for a missing plate! I recently attended a small birthday party (less than 10 people) at Applebee’s, despite past bad experiences. I ordered the Four Cheese Mac with Chicken Tenders, hoping it would be simple enough to get right. I was wrong. The chicken was overcooked and hard as a brick. I barely ate two bites.

I told my waitress, Hailey, who called over the manager on duty, Adam Jones. Turns out, he was the bar manager. When I explained the issue, he said, “You just don’t like it… It is your fault.” Instead of handling it professionally, he was dismissive and rude. He eventually comped part of the dish, but his attitude to me was completely uncalled for. He should stick to handling the drinks at the bar because dealing with sober well paying customers clearly isn’t his strength.

Holland is the GM and is a great guy and a former customer of mine. I don’t hold this against him personally, but Applebee’s has failed again. Between the unskilled kitchen and a sour bar manager, I won’t be returning.

TL;DR: Chicken was overcooked, the manager on duty was rude and dismissive, and the kitchen can’t even get a simple dish right. When I said the chicken was hard, Adam told me, “It’s your fault.” That says it all. Not coming back or recommending this...

This place is horrible. After ordering our drinks and appetizer, was brought old and cold cheese sticks not two min later and i was told that the extra shot i had requested added to my drink could not added. ( i add it every time at the other locations so i know that was bull) so i just ask her to bring me a shot i would add it myself. 5 minutes later i was brought a drink we had not even ordered instead of the shot. I sent it back and said i had only ordered a shot to add to the drink i already had. After about 15 minutes passed she came to see if he had brought the shot and i told her know some drink was brought to me. Than she just stood at our table. Very uncomfortable for us. She finally left then came a bit later to tell me she was waiting on her manager to show her how to ring up the shot. After another 10 min and our drinks where gone i finally just requsted the check that still yet had to have the drink taken off i didn't even order. I was not even going to attempt to order a meal when we could not even get past the drink orders. Needles to say we paid for the old cheese sticks and wrong drink orders and...

My husband and I both worked at Applebee's before. He is still a big fan and it's usually a "go to" spot for us. Yesterday was Father's day and naturally he wanted to stop there to eat. We were traveling back from Memphis to New Orleans. This pitiful little sirloin was what they initially gave him. He asked for medium and got very well done, worst cut steak in the place! The server told us she was going to get him another one. After FINISHING my food and looking for a to go box, he STILL didn't have his SECOND steak. The "manager" was SITTING down in a booth with what appeared to be HIS family. So I walked up and let him know what was going on. He wasn't aware of our problem, and went to see about the second steak. We FINALLY got it and THAT one was also WELL DONE. They comped his plate, BUT this was such a bad experience all the way around. It was his Father's Day meal and he got the shaft! He is an exceptional dad and didn't deserve this so I have to make it known! We will NEVER stop to eat ANYWHERE in Grenada, MS.

To begin, this review is for correction & hopefully training purposes. I visited this location on 12/01/23 and today I’m just gaining the strength to review my service. I ordered the Mac & Cheese with Honey Chicken, I confirmed and reiterated NO BACON on my food because I don’t consume pork nor eaten it in over 25 years. After becoming ill immediately after eating, I reviewed the ingredients to realize the sauce included bacon ingredients. I say this all to say, waitstaff should be trained on menu items and active listening skills. It’s imperative to listen because I looked at my receipt and nothing indicated no bacon. I’m recovering from what feels like food poisoning in my opinion, a tip was left but my experience of beyond explainable. I hope this help the next customer, restaurant, manager & staff. Know better, do better!!!

My husband and I both worked at Applebee's before. He is still a big fan and it's usually a "go to" spot for us. Yesterday was Father's day and naturally he wanted to stop there to eat.
