Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Grenada

I pulled up at drive thru around 730 pm. As I pulled up to window after placing order I was asked to fall back behind the line with words. Probably almost 5 minutes I finally pulled up to window and was told that I been told you to come forward to get my food. I was like I didn't hear you and her reaction was I waved for u to come forward. After getting food and pulled off the lot but I did check my 2 meals which was correct but unsatisfied about the temperature of chicken. I had errands to run but ended up trying my thigh which was mostly crust so I dig my fingers in the chicken and realized it was cold. Finally made it back to talk to night manager and all he could say is it's an HR later and I ate it. Yes I tried the thigh and was upset that I had to wait for cold chicken so around 930 I walked in and said I wanted my money back. So the manager made the choice of giving me an fresh order. As he making my meal there was a older couple there and I tried to just give it away but ended up throwing it in the garbage and got out of there. Long story short Jack's in Grenada Ms isn't the place to go for reliable food nor workers including manager is rude of handling situation of satisfying customers. Gotta give a shout out to Jack’s in Grenada for the AMAZING breakfast this morning! It was our first time having breakfast there and we will most definitely be back. Our food order was correct, hot and fresh, and everything tasted great. My kid said the pancakes were better than the ones I cook at home! (My husband disagreed, but said they were still good. 🤣). Miss Cheryl that was working the lobby went above and beyond! I’m on crutches, and she made sure we had everything we needed, even bringing us napkins, utensils, salt and pepper. When she noticed me getting up from the table she immediately asked what she could get for me. I thanked her and told her I was going to the restroom. I wanted to give a 5 star for the food because the chicken sandwich was juicy. The problem was the staff. The manager did not seem to want to be directing her staff properly. The poor young girl had to bring her up front several times. The guy that was supposed to be manning the frying was in the bathroom for probably 30 minutes playing on his phone. Nobody wanted to take his place or knew how to man that station so people waited for him to come out. Then the fun started. A guy from Chicago wanted his money refunded after waiting all that time. Another lady got her fish sandwich but the sides were messed up. I had my order correct but I made it simple for these poor neglected staff. It’s hard to mess up a plain grilled chicken sandwich.
