Andrew's Waterhole Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Gresham

Never left a post this long but: it's hard to say, this place has been my local watering hole for almost a year now. The other day my phone and ID got stolen from the back porch, I was gone maybe 4min as I had to tinkle. When I asked if anyone recently left they said yeah a couple people. When I told them my items were missing and requested a print out of who potentially took it(its a phone-easily hidden) and they were the only people outside that left within that time period, I was informed several days later that the camera doesn't work outside. So.. yeah. I have been very satisfied with my experience there until then. Why have a fancy security system with no actual tangible feed to come back to if anything arises? The bartender Kayla was great-she did everything she could and I still see her at the bar to this day(its hard to find a solid bartender and she is gold), but overall I have seen no interest in any kind of follow up from the management which makes me somewhat disappointed. I didn't just "leave" my things laying around but the friend I was with went to the restroom just after I did(bad communication on our part-granted).. kind of bummed with that particular night. Worst employees i have ever scene. Tried to cash out and it took forever because the guy behind the bar wouldnt stop gossiping. Then a female who worked there and was off duty got into this young mans face screaming she owned the bar. She was drunk and not making much sense and no matter what the young man said she would take offense and threaten him some more. Instead of checking her the bartender tried to placate her empowering her even more. She was a blond, thin, short old woman who was screaming drunkenly at a customer how this was her bar and no one was going to disrespect her. Would not recommend this bar to anyone of color. Unfortunately I do not know bartenders name, but the white lady with a mullet working the night of February 18th is a racist , poor excuse of a human being that treated us poorly. Do not spend your money here unless you’re okay with supporting racism .

The way the owner responded to this review & this situation is further validation that you should NOT support this business - I’m well aware of the area, born and raised here, but thank you! & instead of inquiring of what happened , you state your employee would “never” do something like that...?
