This is the only Starbucks I have ever ever ever had a problem at. And it's happened multiple times! So Starbucks is like the unicorn of customer service for the most part. They have had some huge screw ups but overall the company has a good culture, pays employees fairly, provides benefits for every employee regardless of hours and that shows in the way staff treat us customers. Well something's gone way wrong here. No one is happy to see you. You are there so they will tolerate you but there is no such thing as a greeting or a smile at this Starbucks location. On one occasion they had a sign saying there was a special after 2, and Grande latte and pastry was $5 for both. That's all the plain sign said, handwritten, no logo or requirements besides buying both. So I order and she asks for my club card. I don't have one. She tells me it's only for club members. I have her try my number just in case. No. Then my MIL. Nope. My parents. Nope. A couple of friends. Nope. So I said, "I guess I need a card then? " She sighed loudly and then swiped a card she had sitting there apparently the whole time for non members. Why would she do that? When I said I'm not a member wouldn't the logical thing to do be to tell me the benefits of being a member and offer me a card and then swipe the register card if I declined? On another occasion the customers in front of me ordered a tall vanilla frap., the cheapest flavor, but then when they were looking at how small that is they worked out the math to determine that the venti was the best bang for they buck (of course it is so that we buy the biggest option right? ). They order and then they tried to pay with an EBT card. The employee told them they couldn't use that there. The couple walked away. I want to mention is was scorching hot outside. The couple goes to an endcap and grabs an ice cream that's on sale and then heads to the self checkout behind the Starbucks. I order my drink during this time. After I order, while the couple is right behind him, the 2 Starbucks ladies start talking about how dare those people try to buy something from Starbucks with their ebt. That that is for bread and cheese, not treats. They couple looked devastated and left quickly. The staff talked about them for quite some time, the irresponsible jerks who in reality were planning to share the cheapest, most value for their money very cold beverage on a hot day as they walked home on the hot pavement. I spoke to the manager and explained that I had once received benefits... when my husband was in the military. The idea that I would be chastised for trying to have a single treat while we were sacrificing so much, it downright ticked me off. Maybe one of them are in the service or has cystic fibrosis, maybe it's her birthday or the anniversary of the loss of a child and they are just trying to feel better. Maybe they just wanted a cold treat on a hot day like a normal person. I won't ever...
Read moreI'm so sorry you all had a bad experience at Starbucks. I used to work at Safeway. If you want to report any of the workers, you'll need to do a comment. card on the person who gave you a bad impression. And that way it will get put in that person's employment record. Management always read those. They give all the employees who work at Safeway an attitude too. In my opinion, I do believe it's a maturity thing. Most of the workers at Starbucks are young. And if you were to let management know, they would be all over it. And they'll say something to the employee the next time they are working. It's a huge thing to management. But they won't always see it happen. A lot of the employees don't like to get they're name brought into a complaint. And there is some of the employees who really like their job and won't be rude to you. Sometimes, the workers at Starbucks and Safeway don't like you. So, please don't ever feel like you should or shouldn't complain. Its The only way to make sure it does happen, you'll have to let them know someway what they're doing. Anyway.... I honestly hope you're going to do this. No one should be treated poorly anyway. And I really hope you all have a better time with when you and your family and friends go into the Safeway and Starbucks you will always have a better experience.
Thank...
Read moreThis would be the 4th time my wife has had a problem with the lady that works the morning shift during the week. She is absolutely RUDE, Condescending and just outright disrespectful. Today was the first time I actually experienced this. She started off very kind to a gentleman ahead of my wife and was kind. Then when it was my wife's turn. She was short, rude and was mumbling her rudeness about my wife's order and when my wife said thank you out of kindness. This lady proceeds to give her a sarcastic "BYE" and waving hers hand like shoo get out of here. Someone needs to deal with this lady. This needs to stop. My next visit if the lady isn't fired before then. I will post a picture of this lady and video of this exact behavior. Unacceptable. My wife shops here 3 days a week. No one deserves this kind of treatment as a customer. Other recent reviews I've read on here shows...
