This is shockingly one of the best places to eat in Gresham in my opinion. Everything we've had off the menu has been solidly good and some of it is just plain delicious. They are decently consistent as well. Their Pad Thai is one of the best I've had, esp if you prefer it not spicy. Drunken noodles are solid as well. They also have excellent curries (we've tried a couple at this point but I particularly recommend the pineapple curry), and both the Tom Yum and Tom Kha are great. Chicken Satay is also very good, though I don't recommend the potstickers really. They're alright but pale in comparison to the rest of the menu.
I will say that staff is not typically super friendly, but they're not rude either and I'll take excellent Thai over somewhere giving me the warm and fuzzies any day. We typically get takeout from here anyways so it's not a big deal and they're usually quick. Prices are on par with most competitors and portions are good...
Read moreUsed Uber Eats to order delivery from Thai Curry, first time trying their food and it was alright. The Pad Woonsen was good, but the Pad Thai tasted like they just stir-fried rice noodles and ketchup. It tasted similar to Japanese omurice to me so if you like that, you'll like this but it was too sweet for my taste.
Also ordered the Papaya Salad and gotta say, for $11.50 the portion is too small. On top of that, it tasted like they mostly used lime juice and some sugar for the sauce. I grew up eating papaya salad and I feel like it needed more fish sauce for flavour. As a side note, they didn't pack it in a sealed container. The sauce will probably leak and get everywhere like mine did, FYI if you like to get food to-go.
Overall okay food, I'd eat here again but honestly I think it's a bit overpriced. Also for those sensitive to spice, I tried the first two heat levels. Level 1 is no chili and Level 2 is...
Read moreI've eaten here quite a bit since they've opened and at first I really liked it but the last few times have been just alright.. customer service could be better. Today, my son (who is 5) and I got the pad see ew (as we usually do) but it was very bland and I actually watched it sit out on the counter until our potstickers were done even though those are an appetizer and are supposed to be at the table first. I've never had an issue with them telling me I cant share an entree with someone like I've seen on previous reviews. Maybe because I usually go with my son and He's a child... Needless to say, our food was half cold by the time they brought it to us. I would much rather go to Sa Bai Thai down on Sandy Blvd. but this is right up the street from me... will probably be back eventually but they are pricey compared to other spots and the food isn't as good...
