Reginelli's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Gretna

Great food horrible delivery ethics. I will not be getting food from here ever 1st time I've ever ordered from them. I also mind you I was working on wright st literally right around the corner from there restaurant; my work doesnt allow me to leave because most places dont accommodate a 26' moving truck and also that we cant leave sight. I had a $50 order delivered to me with 2 salads and a chicken sandwich, a gallon of lemonade, garlic knots with the cups that where asked for also lids and straws; that was awesome of them to put it all in there but I explicitly told the person on the phone that I NEEDED FORKS, SPOONS, KNIFES. It took 30 minutes to get my food that was great I divided the food up to eat between all my coworkers. I found no utensils in any of my bags. I called up told the receptionist that the problem had happened she said no problem we will have it right to you as quick as we can, ok great sounds good see you soon. I had to wait 45 MINUTES to get my plasticware utilities. That is unacceptional no indeed. I can tell you by my wait that you had to of let the delivery driver go onto other deliveries that where after me for a mess up yall did. I couldnt eat for over an hour after I already had my food in front of my for 45 minutes. The delivery driver was super awesome, very respectful and courteous the whole time. Reginelli’s was a very nice ambiance, a welcome addition to the neighborhood restaurants just a few miles from me . Wish the rest of the experience could match the 15 friends I was with ? We had a great time but the food was just ok , nothing remarkable to rave about here but I did only try 3 items .. so I will indeed go again and sample a few more items and then see if the service and quality of food is better.. So very much unlimited potential and yes I am very critical when a restaurant specializes in a specific cuisine I really want to be transformed . The physical building and location did that 100% but the Food ,service and PROFFESIONAL behavior and training of the staff left much to be desired .. My first time in and I will indeed try a couple more times to try and hit the sweet spot which should have been my first visit ? A effort C for execution ( needs simple management oversight ) and basic training of the staff .. a causal uniform to support the branding would reinforce the team.. Hope I am wrong and will go back in early...

The very first time I had reginelli's, I ordered a Detroit styled pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. I've ordered reginelli's about 4 more times since and have gotten the Detroit styled pizza every time and every time it's just gotten worse and worse, I've only been coming back just to try to get the pizza exactly as it was the first time I had gotten it but I've given up on this place. The food as far as I can tell is never the same the second or third or fourth time you have it. It's very inconsistent, the cook, the quality and the taste has always been different. For the price, the food could be better. I don't think I'll be wasting my money here anymore, I've had frozen pizza that tasted much better than the last couple Detroit styled pizzas I've had from this place.
