Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Gretna

I would like to start with I hate leaving negative reviews. We go to Scooters all the time by our home so we were excited to see this new one as we got off the interstate in need of caffeine. My husband drinks cold brew and we have gotten it at other locations multiple times with no issues. We went thru the drive thru and what he received was very transparent and looked almost like a weak TEA. My husband was hesitant to go in because he is pretty low maintenance but he did decide to get it straightened out. They told him "That is what our cold brew looks like..." He tried to explain that it's not what his experience has been with other Scooters. They did remake it but only appeared to be a little cloudier and not much darker as I am guessing they may have added something thru the cold foam. His final drink still had a very weak coffee flavor which is not what to expect when ordering a cold brew coffee. Needless to say we will not be going back to this location ever. Not sure if the franchise is trying to save money or what but quality matters, especially when you are paying $5 for...

To tell you what I've experienced from this store. I've watched those who work their get yelled at in vary degrading, obscene comment and jestures. Also have seen them have stuff thrown at them and made mess on ground. If you can't get your point across with the mannerisms of a respectful human being, dont open your mouth, you are getting what you deserve. Just maybe because I've shown them respect and kindness, I find this to be the best Scooters in town. They always greet us with a smile, some of then just see us pull up and they know my order. You get what you give in this world. There's always that time things didn't go well, it's no reason to take a tone with someone. FOR THOSE THAT WORK THERE ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ That is what you deserve. Your bright smiles, attention to details, out great conversations, and politeness go far beyound our expectations of a wonderful crew. Blonde Girl with messy bun was clearly high, had her head down on the register when we walked in and didn't great us and when we said hi how are you she laughed and said "at work" when I inquired what a black and white was she replied " I don't know" after a few seconds I asked if she could find out and then a girl with a low blonde pony tail came over and helped me, she clearly knew what she was doing. Her and another girl with short dark hair were getting everything done as it was busy, but the girl at the register was just standing in the middle needing constant supervision and direction from the other two. The place was clean and busy but if the owner would like to maintain customers and staff they should get rid of the girl with the messy bun who was running the cash register at a little before 9 am on May 29th.
