China Express — Restaurant in Groton

As one reviewer mentioned, I also tried this place when they first opened. Initially the food was decent, not great not bad, good enough to be considered a future option if my other options weren’t available. I decided to give them a try again based off this one other reviewer who said their food quality really improved since they opened. I’m happy that I did try them again, their food quality really did improve. I ordered delivery, they came quick, very polite, large portion sizes , significantly improved taste and a price that’s totally reasonable. This place is now at the top of my list of options for the Groton area.

UPDATE : 10/25 They are now no longer an option for me. It started with removing the drink that was included with a combo meal. They jacked their prices up way to high, it’s totally unreasonable now and finally they now only do delivery so I’d have to pay delivery charge and tip..NO THANKS! I found a better place, it’s a little bit further out but their food tastes better and is cheaper. China express your shooting yourself in the foot. Best of luck but I think the writing is...

We ordered from this place on New Year’s day, literally because we just moved into a new place near by this Chinese Restaurant and our old place was closed… so we Googled what was near us and tried it. So I ordered online, and called the restaurant to make sure they received the order. The manager had to check but called me back and was very happy and nice over the phone. I am a restaurant worker too, so I left an online note that I’d be tipping $10 in cash and Happy New Year! The driver was super kind and smiley. So far.. so good. Me, my son and my dad are pretty picky about or Chinese and boy did China Express … IMPRESS! We tasted every item of each other’s complimenting the freshness, attention to detail, portion size, ease of ordering and of course the taste was phenomenal. To be honest— the best Chinese food we’ve had in this area. For the cost, and kindness— it was such a great New Years treat. I hope...

I just ordered from here for the first time. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp and Veggie Teriyaki dish with Steamed Rice and the Crab Ragoon.

I have to say that I am picky about crab ragoon. But once in awhile I do like to try it at new places so I took a chance ordering from here. I am not disappointed! The crab rangoon is a really good size, actually has a decent amount of filling in it and has actual chunks of crab inside!

The shrimp dish was delicious too! The shrimp was grilled and drizzled with teriyaki sauce. The veggies were steamed but still had a good crunch to them. No complaints about the rice. My only complaint is that the shrimp was not deveined so I had to clean it out myself. That's why I gave the 4 stars instead of 5.

Overall the food is delicious and I will definitely be ordering...
