this baker is such a hidden gem in southern CT, i’m telling everyone i know about her!! I'm usually not one to buy from home-bakery person instead of a storefront but i was honestly blown away by how beautiful these cakes are. they are SO GOOD! i ordered the most gorgeous little vintage heart cake for my friend’s bridal shower, and it was perfect. lemon cake with vanilla buttercream and "something blue" (blue frosting) in between... so elegant and so pretty. there was even edible glitter that made it sparkle!! this was a last minute order and i couldnt be more grateful that jasmine pulled it all together in less than 24 hours AND DELIVERED. like... who does that?! everyone was obsessed with how beautiful it came out moist and flavorful the cake was. (Also i was shocked at how affordable it was, like i expected to spend at least $40 more)

i loved it so much i knew i needed another one for my birthday, so i sent over some inspo pics with the kind of vibe i wanted and she absolutely killed it. She made me the most adorable cottage-core, mossy forest cake!!! it was so pretty i didn’t even want to eat it. the whole experience was amazing again. jasmine was so easy to communicate with, super sweet, and totally got what i was looking for. i told her what flavors i liked, and she made me another lemon cake but this time with literally the most delicious raspberry curd and lemon curd i’ve ever tasted. she even made sure the buttercream and frosting weren’t too sweet, just how i like it. i seriously can’t explain how impressed i am with this bakery and i’m not even a cake person!! First and foremost I want to clarify that this is a HOME Bakery, so don’t show up randomly expecting to see a display of cakes on a whim like I did 😅 …Once I figured that out, the rest was easy. Jasmine has a website and an Instagram where she shows some of the baked goods she makes, and you can order through a phone call, text, or her website. I’ve ordered 3 cakes so far. Two were Spongebob-themed for my Sister’s 25th birthday, and the third one was a cloud-themed heart-shaped cake for my nephew’s 3 months. This was hands down the best cake I have had in years! I loved it, everyone at my party loved it, heck I had some leftover and brought it to work and it was loved by all of my coworkers! I got an 8" heart shaped chocolate cake, custom colored frosting based on inspo photos and my invitation colors, ribbons, you name it Jasmine can do it!
