This is my absolute FAVORITE Boba Tea place ever. It is such a cute little sit down or take out place for tea. The products, the service, and atmosphere all make this place a solid 10/10. They make such delicious teas that are super customizable to your preference. I love that they offer lactose-free "lactaid" milk as an option, as well as other dairy free options. The tapioca pearls (my personal favorite) are always made right in-house and served fresh. The owner is always so kind and helpful any time I come in. All of the staff are always so friendly, smiling and they make sure to let you know to ask if you need any help or have any questions. I really like to watch them make all the drinks. Some drink options are like works of art! Almost too pretty to eat, but too delicious to not. Every drink that I have personally ordered and tried was perfect, not one complaint or critique. The price is also really good compared to other boba tea places I've been to, since Minn Cha understands a perfect drink to ice ratio. I typically get a large 16oz boba tea for $6.50. Other boba tea places I have been to fill their cups with so much ice that you end up not getting much tea, you can't even get to the tapioca pearls, and so you're overcharged for mainly ice, but at Minn Cha, I love that they use minimal ice and fill your cup with as much tea as possible. The boba pearls to tea ratio is also always on point. They also offer more than just boba tea, so definitely check out their menu online. I highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePretty nice place! First thing off the bat, loved the big smiles of the lady at front- Thank you for asking if I needed help with the machine, you noticed I was a little troubled! I love the kiosk system, it's nice for those of us that are nervous.
On to what else I liked- Ordering was easy, simple, no issues. Loved it. Not a lot on the menu, but that's not a bad thing. Being able to focus on what you do have is wonderful.
The croffle- Delicious. I had some kind of thai tea flavored sauce on it, the croffle was great! The sauce was fantastic, and gives me many ideas on other things that can be turned into sauces.
What I didn't like so much was the freezer burned ice cream that came with the waffle. Whether there's freezer difficulties or otherwise, this ice cream was very much a downgrade for the waffles in terms of being watered down/ gritty-ice texture. Ice cream is creamy, freezer burned ice cream is not so. I'm excited to visit again someday, but I'll give it a while before I do so again.
Edit: Hiya! I saw your response! That's so sweet of y'all! ^^ Some day I'll take you guys up on that!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped by Minn Cha for a boba tea while I was out today. I had seen the sign for the location a month earlier and was eagerly awaiting the opening because there isn't anywhere around us that's a dedicated boba shop. I ordered a Taro tea w/ 50% sweetness and it was perfectly made and balanced! The tapioca pearls were cooked to the perfect chewiness without being overdone or still hard right in the center. The owner recommended trying one of their chaffles -a croissant waffle, and I'm so glad she did! I ended up going with one that was topped with powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream, and fresh grated sharp cheddar! It may sound a little weird, but it was honestly a perfect sweet and savory balance. Their menu also features Asian shaved ice, and other chaffles options, a long with fruit teas, milk teas, and frozen blended drinks. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and it's really nice seeing a business like this in the area. I can't wait to stop in again with friends or just order something to pick...
