My sister and I had a horrible experience with the Grottoes Ciros. We ordered deep fried mushrooms a supreme Neopolitan pizza, extra cheese with onions on 1/2. When read back to me they said mushrooms on half. I corrected them and said onions on half and moved on. We also ordered deep fried mushrooms and bacon and cheese fries. When the order arrived it did not have extra cheese. I called and spoke the MOD and he said they would deliver a small with extra cheese. ( I would have settled for a credit, but He offered the pizza) After hanging up with him I realized we did not receive the deep fried mushrooms. I called back and spoke to a lady who speaks fluent English. And expressed to her we had not received what we initially ordered. I also pointed out that the deep fried mushrooms were not on the receipt and I had ordered those before I had placed my pizza order. As I was speaking to her the MOD delivered the small pizza. I asked the employee to hold on while I spoke to him. He stepped in my house and began to tell me how he had the receipt with what I ordered. I tried to explain to him although that is what he wrote down that is not what I ordered. It was obvious he did not like that as he proceeded to tell me how wrong I was. I am okay if the order is wrong but the next event ticked me off! My sister asked him to leave 3 or 4 times and he would not go. He stood strong in the doorway and would not leave. We found that threatening and disrespectful! I then got in my car and drove to Ciros. Again, I was peeved, as I had not planned to leave my house. I returned the food and asked numerous times for my money back as well as the tip. Your manager dragged that out for as long as he could. I am sure the few people that were in your restaurant were confused as we kept bantering back and forth. But they had no idea what had transpired prior to my visit to your restaurant. A short Hispanic woman then joined in but would not speak about the subject in English. I asked her her name and was told โ I do not have to tell youโ! Again disrespectful! I realize we do not live in a perfect world! Orders can and will be incorrect at times! However, I refuse to allow anyone to disrespect or make me feel threatened in my own home. You no longer have my business and I will be sure to tell 10 other people of my experience! No stars from me, as customer service and respect...
ย ย ย Read moreThe last few times ordering our food is incorrect. Today called asked how much a 12 inch steak and cheese combo and was told 13.99. Placed order for the combo w lettuce tomatoes mayo onion and half banana peppers. Was told dont do halves but can do a cup on the side w the banana peppers. They tell us 15 to 20 mins and my husband picked up the order and they didn't take a name or number or give me a number to make sure order is right. He gets home says it was 18 something and opens it and no fries we got onion rings and sub was mushroom and mayo only on the s and cheese. My husband dont like mushrooms. He said forget calling back its been the last few times we just wont order from them anymore. I ordered at 727 and almost 9 they call me. I noticed a missed call and called back and they said we didn't pick up our food or something. They would get the owner but he was delivering and would call me back. I told het they should take names or last 4 of phone numbers or something bc orders r never correct anymore. When orders r made correctly the food is good but aggravating when u dont get what u request and have to pay more. If this issue could be resolved it would eliminate alot of chaos that staff is going thru and satisfy customers.
And still simply like do nothing to correct the problem but can see response and its a oopsy and nothing to satisfy disappointed customers. Like it dont matter to them they losing customers and doing corrections to the problem. I left my name and number and was promised a owner would call me and didn't. Said probably would give some money back bc got charged for something we didn't order or would possibly offer a correct meal for the mixup and got offered neither. And not even care to call back. I myself was store manager at 2 fast food places and know to correct the problem satisfy the customer to the best u can and appolgize to show their business is appreciated and apparently the management dont care if satisfying customers or making a buck whether its what the customer wanted or not. Very disappointed w the reply to my complaint and wonder what the reaction had been if one of us were severely allergic to mushrooms. ย ย ย Read moreWe normally love this place but tonight I wasn't to happy. We came there for two of our kids birthdays and the waitress seemed new to industry. She was friendly but no personality and we had to get her attention a few times and she brought a regular cup instead of cup with lid for my youngest daughter...then it's 730 and they are out of sweet tea. Asked if they were going to make more and she said probably not because it was close to closing time which isn't until 11pm. But offered other drink since they couldnt refill ours... So my kids drank soda instead which mind you we already had sweet tea so had to change drinks all together. Another gentleman had to come over and refill us once and grab extra mayo even though she had been to table and seen my drink was empty when delivering food and she spilt chips setting my wife's food down onto her she also set it in front of kids first instead of her originally. She acted like she was nervous to serve people. Also we set beside the TV (bad choice I know but there was only a few tables open with our size of family with one person sitting at the biggest table they had) and the TV was on music that kept repeating a clip of the same song over and over for 40 plus mins we were there. Food was great except I feel like we used to get more meat on our subs. I honestly feel like the service was the problem tonight though very subpar from what it used to be. Probably be a while before we come back to try again. Also when someone orders no onions on their sub they probably don't want it on their side salad if you don't know you should ask when it's a deliberate request...
