JIN SUSHI — Restaurant in Grove City

First timers Food was delicious. Served well. I ordered the Gyoza and a tuna sushi and the dancing eel roll( I originally wanted to try the sea urchin but they didn't have it)😔. Very yummy though. My husband ordered crab ragoons and the steak hibachi. Took 2 stars off because not once but TWICE our waitress took both our dinner plates to the wrong table. She didn't set them down but there was only one other table there when we came in and they were younger kids who already eaten and were just chatting. The waitress walked by us 2 times to do this!! She just thought it was the funniest thing too, she seemed stoned. Unprofessional imo. Please learn some manners. This was a special night and it made dinner very awkward. I'd like to go back but now I'm nervous that will happen again 🥴

Update** Came here again over the weekend. Different waitress but fuller dining room. Not much eye contact from waitress or her asking how anything is. I saw her being friendly with another table though. I ordered dancing eel roll again and gyoza and added the uni this time. Fabulous and delicious. My husband ordered the ragoons again and the steak hibachi. I noticed he had more steak and I was like wow. He had told me the the waitress messed up his meal saying she gave him the more expensive hibachi at $22+ and it wasn't even dinner time. So thank you for over charging. I can't be happier with my review today. This was the worst hibachi I've had in America. I ordered two hibachi takeouts and an extra chicken. The girl taking my order didn't clarify (my wife, two kids, and I wanted noodles) and brought me dry, poorly seasoned rice. The vegetables were steamed and soaked in sauce; they couldn't be grilled. I thought it was impossible to make salmon taste bad, but they did. The chicken, salmon, and vegetables were all dressed in the same sauce and tasted practically identical. When I ordered, I specified that I wanted miso soup, but they gave me clear soup in both orders. I won't be returning here and I don't recommend it. We only noticed the incorrect order upon arriving at the park. Between four of us, we couldn't even finish one order. The portion isn't big, but it's not tasty. Everything else went in the trash. I'm suffering from heartburn for the rest of the day. Not tasty.The building is old, the renovations are ancient, everything is peeling. A piece of board was falling off in one place, and they fixed it with regular tape. The order waiting area...

Now, I've never had a bad experience with this place before, and I've been coming here since they've opened. But tonight, whomever the lady is that was working the front of the house, was rude. She came over, after we asked for boxes, and got nasty with us. I'm not sure if it was because of the fact that we all had food left on our plates or if she just thought we didn't like the food, but she wasn't very kinda after that. We constantly received dirty looks and were made to rush out the door because we were done. Not only that, but while i was finishing off the last bit of lettuce, she took the plate away from me. Not she did not not see me, she wasn't too busy to not notice, she saw me eating. Now, giving the benefit of the doubt, I will just take it as she was having a bad day. So I will give 4/5 stars.
