Icy Donuts — Restaurant in Groves

Went and ordered a "bacon and potato ONLY" (making sure to add emphasis on that last word while ordering because they've done this before). I get essentially a log of egg with bacon flakes and 2 pieces of hash brown.

I take it back to have it remade, and the lady tells me "that's how it comes! You need to order it with no egg!" Acting as if I was just some idiot who didn't know their menu or something. She outright refused to remake it. I had to ask for a refund and she got visibly angry about it.

I'm the one who should be mad. I had to sit in line twice, and I still don't have breakfast because someone thinks their shit doesn't stink.

It's not like I'm just being picky, either. Eating eggs gives me ptsd from being a 5 year old with an abusive stepmom forcing me to eat my own puke with her scrambled eggs. I literally cannot...

Purchased a dozen mixed donuts $16.00. They looked like they could be in a magazine. So pretty, sprinkles, nice colors, and the glazed donuts shined. My favorite part of getting fresh donuts is whenever you bite into it, and it's warm and melts in your mouth. Unfortunately, I did not get this with these donuts. They were icy cold. Not what I had expected. I would say I like the other 3 options much better. An added bonus for the other nearby donut shops is not only so they serve warm, soft, melt in your mouth donuts, but the prices are even lower. So, if you want expensive pretty donuts, this...

The actual donuts are some of the best I've ever had, but the real reason I like to stop here every chance I get are the breakfast egg rolls. Sausage, bacon, eggs, cheese, and green onions in a light crispy shell.... They are absolutely amazing.

Don't miss the Vietnamese coffee, iced coffee sweetened with (I believe?) sweetened condensed milk. Gives it a bit of an unusual flavor but it's just as addicting as the egg rolls.

The staff is always fast and friendly here. I'm glad to stop by here a few...
