Target — Local services in Guilford

Went here the other day. Good, clean store that seems well stocked. Grabbed a few hot wheels fingerboards but they wouldn’t scan at self checkout so we hit the button for help. An employee came up to us and I told her the fingerboards weren’t scanning. She didn’t verbally respond to me, she just put in a random price of 2$ for the first fingerboard. Before she put in every fingerboard at 2$, I politely let her know that the hot wheels fingerboards are $1.50 each and she Immediately said “I MEANNN” very loudly, in a clearly angry, frustrated, and extremely rude tone before changing it to the correct price of $1.50. When she was done, we still said Thankyou to her even though she was extremely rude for no reason. She didn’t even respond, she just angrily walked away. She was clearly very angry and offended that I said the fingerboards were $1.50. She didn’t even check the price of the item, or look it up, or anything at all. she literally just made up a price in her head for the item, then got extremely angry because I politely told her what the actual price was. It was very strange. We are so sorry we didn’t want to pay your made up, more expensive and wrong price lady. Offended by everything, ashamed of nothing. That lady should work anywhere but customer service,...

I am so happy to have Target in town, but that’s a given. It was clean, organized, and I’ll be back a million times.

More importantly, shout out to Jacob who rang us out tonight. My son was very excited to be at target and insisted on getting everything onto the belt to be rang out. Jacob was SO patient and playful with my son, even teaching him how to scan groceries/where to look for the barcode, etc. My son has not stopped talking about this....

Saw something in stock online so I went to go grab it only to find the shelf empty. Asked female employee in electronics if there was any in stock and she told me she'd check. Left me waiting for 20 minutes and never came back to tell me it was out of stock/she couldn't find it. She just moved on to do something else without informing me. Other employees were helpful but don't understand why she wouldn't come back...
