Went there with my girlfriend today and we each got a bowl, I got the soy ginger chicken and she got the signature tofu bowl. The service was great, employees were helpful and kind. Right when we walked in it smelled extremely strong of cleaning chemicals but I’ve been to places that smelled like that before right when walking In so didn’t think much of it this time. We took the food to go and went back home to eat. Neither of us could finish our food from them both tasting like the smell of chlorinated pool water. I’ve had pokemoto many times at different locations including here before and never had this happen. Kind of upsetting with each bowl being around $15. I’ll get poke somewhere else...

I kept being told Pokémoto is far superior to Poke Don where I usually go. I went today and it was the worst experience I think I’ve ever had. The rice was hard and inedible, the spicy mayo was all siracha, the salmon was even half slimy. The cashier was not at all interested in doing anything but the bare minimum.
