I honestly believed that businesses trained their employees to be courteous , helpful, and professional as well as friendly to customers in order to keep them coming back and keep them loyal. Well this is not the case here at Dodge' s here in Gulfport Ms. 25 th Ave.
There is this particular guy (whom I usually refer to men as gentlemen) but this case is an exception , who is a cashier there. It never fails to when I arrive at the register to either buy gas or pay for my items that he is extremely rude to me, mean outright obnoxious blurting out cocky remarks about the items I purchase . Like my money is not the same color as the other customers . This is absolutely not the first time I have encountered this . It continues over and over again.i live here. I visit this store everyday . I spend a lot of money here and I it's my choice . But after today this is the last of it . I will not tolerate it anymore . I have had enough . So this guy comes to work everyday with an attitude just imagine how many customers you will have left us something isn't done about it . When working in a customer service environment customers expect the best treatment . Well now I am not longer a customer . I have had enough . I can take my business elsewhere to spend my greenback . I have never said anything back to his smart comments . I just leave after I have purchased my items. Really he needs to be retrained in customer service on how to treat customers as well as learn how to speak to them .
This guy is tall the tallest guy that works talker than anyone who works . Been here for quite some time . A tall red head guy just started it's not him .this guy is tall with brown hair a white guy .Usually works days . The day this particular event happened was 09/20/2024 estimated time was around 4:30 pm . I have no unearthly idea why he picks me to ridicule . I don't know him personally . But I as a customer never deserved any of it.
Let me give you an example : one time this happened at a sandwich shop where I use to eat . A cook forgot to put gravy on a regular customers sandwich in which this continued to happen everyday. Sooner or later the nan that ordered the sandwich complained . The following day the cook was no longer there. Now the customer is still ordering his sandwiches daily and us pleased , but after so many chances , the cook still intended to send sandwich dry. You cannot blame the customer because he had to choke everyday on a dry sandwich .The cook must have not respected it needed his job.
All I can say is I haven't done nothing but spend my money here . Everyday it never fails I spend money here sometimes 2x a day. Keep this kind of staff member on a team at the store you will be soon losing a lot of more customers.
In fact if I was his boss I would suspend him , send him to a customer service course and make sure that he understands and has learned how to speak and treat customers. I would present him a chance to prove himself . But from my point of view now it is too late At first uthiugtttge guy just had a bad day but don't we all. But that is not the case because his rudeness and obnoxious attitude and tone hate in voice is like he is waiting on me to walk through the door attack me with rude comments.
The other day I went in and purchased some chicken , but I forgot to get the ketchup. After I realized I did. I also noticed my tank needed gas. So it entered the store to purchase the gas and when I paid for the gas I asked him" would you please give me a few packs of ketchup ." This was the sarcastic remark he made while I stood there. " Ketchup and gas , what does that do ,dies the ketchup make the gas taste better! Well behind me was a whole line of customers. Who heard him . I am wondering does this type of behavior makes him feel better about himself What he does not realize it makes him look like a total jackass. Anyway I willm go out of my way not to shoot here plus tell all of my friends about this rudeness I have dealt with here . He must really have me confused with...
Read moreFor more than 40 years, i used to deliver produce to over 100 restaurants on the Mississippi gulf coast. Every now and then, when I made, deliveries, I would see unsanitary things, in some of the restaurants that I delivered to! Not all of them was unsanitary, for the most part, a lot of my customers really went out of the way to keep things clean and sanitary! I live about 20 miles from dodges Southern style, 25th Ave., in Gulfport Mississippi so I don’t make it down that way too often, but tonight I stopped in to buy a cigar, And I was absolutely in disbelief at what I saw on the southside, Of the building , in and on the window panes, and what was showing behind the drink stations! I have seen some crazy unsanitary things over the 40 years that I delivered to restaurants But what I saw tonight, most definitely blew my mind! There is, absolutely not one excuse that can be used to explain what I saw! It is there for God and everybody to see it! the pictures that I took proves that this has been that way for quite a long time! It appears that it hasn’t been cleaned sense The first day that they opened! I can’t believe that someone hasn’t complained about this before now! I can’t believe that the health department has never seen this! This just didn’t happen last week! I must say, that I have seen dumpsters cleaner and more sanitary than what is behind the drink machines! The dust is an inch thick on the machines, and the black stuff that you see in the pictures, is black, mold! And we wonder why we all walk around sick all the time! Well take a good look at the pictures that I have posted and decide for yourself! Kind of makes me wonder what the inside of the machines look like? Coffee machine, ice, machine, and the fountain drink machine! Be sure and go sign up for the beverage. All you can drink each month club ! Yummy, yummy! Get you some of them tater logs while you’re at it! This is a case of just don’t give a damn! It is to my understanding, that the mold and dust behind the drink machines, has been cleaned up and taken care of! The whole point of my review, was to show people that if someone allowed this to happen in full view to the public, what does things look like in places that you can’t see! And this is talking about every restaurant on the coast and across America!...
Read moreFirst time visitor, wanted to grab some fried chicken to take home for dinner. At first, walking by the outside of the building, looked very nice, lots of signage advertising various meals and combos and $.79 drinks. Walked in, initially a little disappointed by a sign near the fountain cups saying out of large lids, so we kept heading towards the fountain dispenser, more like trying to keep from sticking to the floor. Was pretty unsatisfactory kept. Then to add, no lids at all for any fountain drinks, so we opted out of them, and decided to get just the fried chicken. The line was about 6-7 deep, with two cashiers, moving decently. We got to the cashier and said that we wanted the 10 piece fried chicken advertised on the outside windows. You would have thought we tried to order a nuclear reactor. She had no idea what we were asking for. We had to point to the sign on the window behind the registers showing the product, she said she didn't know how to ring that up, and we would have to go to the other cashier, by then there were 3-4 people still in the line for cashiers, we asked her if we had to get back in line, and she responded that she could do it, but had to get instructions from the other cashier. Well, after getting rung up, she was very nice and asked us the type of chicken pieces we would like, we said we didn't care. Rolled out. Said to ourselves this was the first and prolly last time in Dodges. Then we got home to eat the chicken. Whoa! Probably the worst fried chicken I've ever had. Dried out, little meat, and super thick breading. Well, that's one place to check...
