I visited Mr Pita less than a week after it opened. While the owners are still fine tuning their operation, it promises to be one of the better Mediterranean style restaurants in the area. Nestled in a mixed use strip building, the large sign beacons the passersby from a distance. A small place with a big flavor profile, it provided a unique taste in it's offerings, whether humble pita sandwiches or full fledged entree's. The flavor distinguishes itself from other common Mediterranean eateries. I asked the chef about the difference and he explained that they use a unique blend of authentic imported spices and ingredients, including mango as the flavoring agent. As I watched, they not just sliced shawirma from the rotisserie, they grilled it while adding spices, as well. The difference is a pleasure kick in the food. Additionally the customer can choose from a number of toppings to customize the food. The result is total satisfaction. It is a dream project for the young owners who are following their passion. If the taste is any indication, they will go big in future. If it matters to the customer, they only use halal meats. As of now, they don't offer any desserts but I am sure, as they grow, they will add more items to their menu. Go there, talk to the people who are extremely pleasant and helpful. Once you experience their hospitality, you...

First and foremost, the falafel here is simply outstanding. Crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside, each bite is bursting with flavor. They have mastered the art of seasoning, making their falafel a must-try for anyone, whether you’re a longtime fan or a newcomer to this dish.
Equally impressive is their lentil soup. It’s rich, hearty, and packed with wholesome ingredients that warm you up on even the chilliest days. The blend of spices and textures creates a comforting bowl that keeps you coming back for more.
The service at Mr. Pita is another highlight of the experience. The man behind the counter is incredibly welcoming and truly goes above and beyond for his customers. Read moreUm where do I begin. I was across the street at Quest Diagnostics (a couple of times) had to fast. This time was starving and decided to try. I wanted a little bit of everything so got the combo meal! There was SO MUCH MEAT and everything just piled on. Omg so good. Chicken breast, lamb burger, beef etc. Saffron (?) rice, 3 different kinds of salads, lentil soup, two warm and fluffy pita breads, 3 different sauces , one tasted like yogurt, one I think tahini, and the other a hot and spicy salsa-like sauce. I also loved the canned and bottled juices. Opted for the mango juice with pulp. SO GOOD. in fact, I recently started eating meat, and this was a great introduction for me. My partner is vegetarian and I got him the vegetarian version of this combo, he said the food was amazing as well. The man working was very friendly and he gave me a sample of the falafel. There’s is very unique and tastes like it’s air fried! Crispy with sesame seeds! What can I say. Check out the pics I posted! Each meal was enough for 3 meals for each of us!!!! I posted on my Snapchat and several people asked me where I...
