I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Guyman. The front desk associate suggested this restaurant saying the food was excellent. Unfortunately, after I ordered the food, I was moved to a new room. I immediately called the restaurant to advise them of the change and was told my food was on the way but she would call the delivery person to tell her. After about 30 minutes, I had to call the restaurant again. The girl who answered the phone each time I had to call told me that they’d send my food right over. (She spoke to me in a very irritated tone of voice each time I had to called and also made me repeat myself several times) They sent the same food they cooked over half an hour before and made no apology, nor did the girl offer to replace it with fresh, hot food. The onion rings were disgusting as they were cold and soggy and the hamburger was the same as not only was it cold, the bun was wet from sitting in an closed container. I have to ask why on earth would a restaurant allow such bad customer service? I want to say it was good, but it wasn’t. It was actually quite gross and everything was disgusting. I don’t like to give bad reviews, but I have never had a worse experience, which could have been perfect had the restaurant delivered freshly...
Read moreThe food, atmosphere and service were all wonderful. We got coconut flavored sweetened ice teas (I believe 5 of us ordered it), with our meals, 6 adults on 2 tickets, we liked it and inquired if it could be purchased to take home and were told yes they could sell it by the gallon. What we were NOT told was that it would spoil quickly. We would NOT have purchased it had we been told this as we were from out of town, staying across the street at the Quality Inn. The tea sat in vehicals overnight and by the next day upon arrival at our homes, 3 different towns, the plastic jugs were swelled up and when we went to drink it, it was rotten. I called and left my name and number asking for a refund to my card for the amount of purchase for just the teas, $26.36, 4 gallons. So far I am being told they dont do that as there is nothing in the tea to spoil but they also say they cant tell me what is in the tea. I will update as we work through this, my caution would be in purchasing that tea if you have to transport it for about 20 hours, it evidently needs to be refrigerated which we were not told. Normally tea does not have to be refrigerated. I will be contacting the Guyman Chamber Office...
