Guys, how hard can it be???
The last 4 times I went to Wendy's, I simply asked for NO SALT on my Fries, but got it anyway. And today is the LAST day.
What gives? You can get a burger however you want, but you can't get no salt fries? Excuse me for trying to be more conscientious about my health...I know that fast food is high in salt, and this is one of the reasons i asked for no salt fries, trying to make the best of a bad situation. No reason I shouldn't, is there?
Not to mention the rather snide comments I got from some of the employees at the intercom as well as the pick-up window when i tried stating my case to whoever the "manager" was that day. It's sad that a handful of disrespectful smart-as**s have to ruin the customer experience, but that's how we're raising our kids today.
In keeping with my recent weight loss and blood pressure reduction, I'm simply trying to take care of myself NOW so that maybe I'll be a customer of yours LATER. And I only go once a week. Everything in moderation, right?
For now I'm cutting my ties with Wendy's. It probably won't matter as you have many other customers, but keeping your customers is the name of the game. And thanks to the lack of communication and the ridicule I received over my preferences, all I have to say is, "Strike Three, You're Out."
Oh and your fries? I gave them to the birds. I did enjoy the Dave's Single and my bottle of...
Read moreOut of all the fast food drive places Wendy's get an A+. The employee (s) anytime I've gone thru the drive thru lane know the answers to any question I ask. Sometimes I ask a lot. My son is Autistic and he is particular. For example of questions, what's deals do they have, the discription of any given item. what flavor drinks. what's in the salads or what dressings do they offer. Ive never been told, hold on I'll ask. You would be amazed how many employees of other food chains do not know the these simple questions. . One time at McDonald's that serves breakfast all day long said to me, breakfast is over. I drove up the road to BK they said they also stopped serving breakfast. I said I know you or Mc D's does. I just came from there so I thought you did.. Turns out I called the McD's that I just left & a manager took the call & said I'm sorry I was told incorrect information. I couldn't believe the employee didn't even know that breakfast was served all day. Abs. crazy, then you would think the manager would of offered to comp me a breakfast item when I drove back. Nope didn't happen. The offer would of been nice to show they were sincerely sorry. Nope they didn't care. With all the competitor's they have, you think they would have. Wendy's never messes up the order either. All on the money! Great Job to Wendy's of...
Read moreI used to frequent the Wendy's in Mt. Olive (with no issues) however I have since moved to Hackettstown, so now I frequent their location. However I'm to the point that I'm going to think before I spend my money there anymore. I don't go out to eat often, so when I'm splurging my budget AND my calories by craving fast food, I shouldn't be consistently disappointed. My past few visits over the past few months I had decided to take advantage of adding a cookie for 99 cents, only to realize that they were overcharging. When I said that they have the promo of adding a cookie to a combo for 99 cents the cashier first didn't know what I was talking about, and quickly started to get a defensive attitude. The manager chimed in, but she two was confused about the promo. On today's visit I decided to not even bother with the cookie. The aggravation of explain their promotion to them isn't worth the calories. Tonight I ordered a chicken sandwich. I asked to please add onion to the sandwich. I have done this several times before with no issue. I get home only to discover that yes, my onion is on the sandwich, but nothing else. No lettuce, tomato, or mayo. I added mayo from home but honestly the sandwich was so dry. I'm so disappointed that I wasted my money and calories on this cheat meal. Will definitely think twice before visiting this...
