I came in 20 mins before dinner but there is a lunch speacial so I asked about it. She told me she would be charging me for the dinner. I was really hungry so I went along with that. Then when I sat down she changed her mind and said if I pay now she would charge me for lunch. (What's the difference if I came in at lunch? They also had a lot of food out there that looked like it been there all day looked old and all. Almost forgot to mention they still didnt even have dinner items fully available at the time she was about to make me pay for dinner. Some of the hot food was was cold.) So I paid her upfront before eating like she wanted. As soon as I went to eat at the buffet, I spilled a little soup (and it was really a little) it was like she was watching me and looking for reasons to keep picking with me. She yelled in her language ran to me and took my bowl out of my hand, also made a whole scene like I contaminated the soup. Had people come from the back and all 5 of them kept turning thier heads at me like I did something. It was uncomfortable to eat really. Then she started to teach me soup etiquette where you have a plate under the soup bowl. How dare her when the plate was so big, it was in the pile of plates for platters. She even had the nerve to ask me if I understood...um your speaking my language. Of course I understand English. She was overall very rude. Not to leave too much out but she also got my water and I was standing halfway until you reach my table (remind you I was hungry) she would not even give me my water when I asked her if I could drink my water she made me walk all the way back to my table instead of just giving me my water. Then she'd keep coming to the table saying things like "are you full?" Will I be back again yes, but that's only because its a buffet with a variety. It's also convient because I can walk there in this cold weather. But if I had more options to walk to and have a buffet. She wouldn't...
Read moreWent for Lunch Buffet around 12:30 today (Tuesday). Paid $30 for 2 adult 2 kids with water. I liked the lo mein, general tso’s, egg rolls, and wontons, which is mainly what I go for anyways. Wontons were just slightly sweet compared to others I’ve had, but tasted pretty much the same. I tried some of their other options and liked most of it. Was bummed about the sweet and sour sauce, almost like it has a weird cherry taste and not what I was expecting, they need to take that out. However, the chicken was delicious without it, that tempura crisp. My kid was gobbling it down. Salad bar was mehh..Lettuce needed changed out and my wife ended up not making one. Bathrooms need some maintenance but relatively clean. I’m not bashing them at all. Seemed to not be very busy and so they aren’t gonna swap stuff out that isn’t being eaten. They didn’t have any rice out that I saw which was kind of weird. Wish they’d have that as an option. Atmosphere is calm. I believe it was just light radio music. Idk why people say they don’t bring fresh stuff out because I got some steaming hot general tso’s when one of the chef’s came out and refilled it. You just can’t expect to fill a big plate up and it all stay warm. The host was very nice and doing all she could really on a Tuesday. People constantly going up to pay, Doordash orders etc. I will go back. They have room for improvement, but the location probably makes it hard for them with all of the other restaurants on the strip there. If they had more business and change their selection a bit they would do much better. That...
Read moreWe were hungry for Chinese and made the mistake of choosing this restaurant. We got the buffet - figured for $10 each, it was a bargain. It was not. The sad fish tank with green water as we walked in should have been a warning. 90%+ of the available food on the buffet was picked over, nearly empty, old and hovering around room temperature. For many of the items, you would have had to scrape dried up food off the bottom of the pan. The only thing we saw refilled the whole time we were there was about 10 egg rolls. I think the food would have tasted fine if it was fresh and hot, but I guess we'll never know. The desserts were just as bad - old and mostly empty. The ice cream consisted of small cups of strawberry, coffee and pumpkin - odd choices. I only got water, but my son and husband said the Pepsi even tasted strange. The waitress took our order, delivered our drinks and that was the last she bothered with us until we waved her over so we could get the bill. I honestly do not know how this place stays open. We will...
