Dantes Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Haledon

2 stars because I actually like the food but I had to take out the time and fill this review out. This was the third time I ordered from here and I ordered the same thing and I paid different prices EACH TIME. First time it was $21, then it was $23, and today I paid $25. Every time his price goes up by $2 and check the receipt next time, it will never list the items separately, it will always have one amount charged and that’s whatever they decide at that moment what they wanna charge.

So I confront the owner which is the elderly man and let me tell you how rude this guy is. His wife is amazing and she always comes in to save him from being rude to his customers but back to the point, I confronted him on the pricing and he caught an attitude immediately and threw pricing which equaled to less than what he was charging me and then said “tax and card fees” when I asked him why he’s charging me more but when he quoted the pricing of the items he said it with the tax because the pricing showed different on the menu.

In short, please don’t support people like this who skim their customers for literally $1-$2....

Me and my family have been coming here for years. Pizza not bad but seemed like a family owned business so we supported it.... Until lately, when you have one of the owners refusing to sell, not give away, but sell, extra cheese in a cup even when I said I'll pay whatever he wants. His rudeness and lack of human decency today was the straw that broke the camels back. My friends and family will no longer ever come back here as we don't support people who think that rudeness including rudeness to older folks is normal or acceptable. The people there are really nice. Costumer service was amazing... I mean delivery was little late but it was a snow day. I ordered a shrimp parm with French fries and mozzarella sticks and let me tell your I could not finish it and ended up saving it for later, because it was that filling. Like the woman even told me on the phone that the French fries came in a small portion. French fries wasn't small at all a matter of fact it was stuffed to brim 😋.
