Underdog Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Haledon

This is only a review based on multiple deliveries through Uber eats. I really hope the owner responds to this review because, even though we order from Underdog often and like their food, we have a huge gripe with their cheeseburger sliders. But before I get there, what I do like about the place: they're really fast, prices are reasonable, the wings are great, and the portions are fair. We've tried a variety of items, including the filet mignon, and found them all to be delicious.

Now about the sliders. These cheeseburger sliders are supposed to come with pickles, onions and cheese, and no matter how many times we order them, they are always screwed up. They almost never come with pickles or onions. And if we give them instructions when getting multiple orders of sliders to leave off the cheese on one order, they will leave it off on both orders. They never follow instructions. Just the other evening, for example, we again ordered the sliders, with no cheese. But, they were delivered with no cheese, no pickles and no onions. So we basically just got plain bare burgers. So disappointing, can you please work with your kitchen to make the sliders correctly and the order notes? It's really disappointing to keep ordering them and not have them...

The food is good. The drinks are cheap. Their dog bowls are their signature mixed drinks and they are delicious. That is something that you can share with a friend. I love their theme nights like Taco Tuesdays and Dollar Beer Thursdays. The staff is friendly and funny. They are always checking for safety, and will not let you in without an ID of you look young. Don't try to bring a fake because they do scan. The staff will also ask you how you're getting home if you appear intoxicated. They get extremely busy on weekends especially Thursday nights during the academic school year for college students. After 11pm, if you don't like a crowd, it's probably not for you. The outdoor patio space is nice when it's warm out. The space is small but inviting for the love performances that they host. I appreciate them supporting local artists. The music especially when there is a dj present is pretty good. There's a good variety that will keep you moving even if you only like one song. The ladies are super rude!I always drink the same thing when I go there.Went there on Jan 11 for my birthday and was over charged for the drinks and was told very rudely by the big older lady,oh my boss must have changed the price oh well!!When asked how we were charged gratuity for a party of two again was talked to very rude by the older lady with glasses!It was two of us that night I’ve never seen gratuity be added to the bill for two,it normally based on performance of service which our bartender who seemed to be a new guy with glasses and seemed to not know anything about us being over charged and he was the one ringing up!A few weeks prior I had been drinking the same drink all night went to order about I believe it was my 4th and the bartender must of thought I was drunk and not knowing she short changed me!Moving so quick think your not paying attention to them over charging!Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth...
