Hofstra Park (located in Haledon, New Jersey) is a fantastic and scenic hilltop park situated among the property's wooded acreage. The park offers many different amenities, including a softball field, a soccer field, a basketball court, a large play area featuring numerous swing sets and various playground equipment, a very generously sized pavilion as well as grills for your convenience, a smoothly paved bike path that wraps around the entire park and even a children's water park/splash area for those hot summer days in addition to an October hay ride. The park is very clean and the workers are very consistent with its up keeping. You're also very likely to spot some deer among the wooded areas when walking around the park. When I was younger I very much enjoyed riding my bicycle around the bike path, exploring the woods (be safe as it can be quite steep in some areas) and enjoying some snacks near the pavilion. Over the years they've upgraded the park and put a great deal of work into it which is always great to see. I frequently visit this park and have for around 15 years more or less. Read morePark is being redone where the kiddies used to play, they put new basketball courts clean bathrooms baseball fields a big beautiful soccer as well as a football field to play on, bike paths as well as walking paths and the best part you have outside exercise equipment. A lot of room to play and relaxing. This place is has a running stream, you could sit and watch the wildlife pretty cool I saw all kinds of different animals while I just sat there by the edge of the babbling Creek.
