I am so disappointed, because I love Chanticlear Pizza, however I don't feel I can go back in that store again. When I arrive to pick up my pizza, I was told they did not have an order for me at all and that I must have called another store. They were blaming it on me that they lost an order. Okay I thought okay let's just get this going make me a pizza. While the pizza was in the oven, I showed them on my telephone the number I called which was theirs. Something I don't feel a customer should have to do. I waited patiently for my pizza to come out, after 25 minutes I went and ask them where my pizza was? oh it's right here they say. They had it boxed up. I was bringing it to a nursing home. By the time I got to the nursing home and got the pizza out I was so disappointed to see that it was burnt. Seriously? I am waiting for a pizza that they messed up on, and they let it go so long that it burns? What is wrong with this picture? I know that everybody has a bad day and a bad night, but what happened to treat your customers respectfully? I do not believe in that old adage, that the customer is always right, but I do believe that if you're going to blame the customer for something you better be darn sure that it is the truth. I'm not expecting anything from you pizza place, except maybe to agree with me that you were wrong and you did nothing about it. Read moreTerrible customer service... I spent $45 on a small and large pizza. (a large chanti special and small pepperoni) We waited an hour for delivery and when the delivery guy showed up he said we we're out of their delivery area. We received 1 large pepperoni and 1 small pepperoni. I called to have it corrected and was put on hold for a long time... A girl answered, I told her the problem, was put on hold to have a rude gentleman answer and say they will send another pizza. I said will it be another hour? he said "well you're out of the delivery area" I said OK, we keep hearing that, but we've never had a problem before; but apparently it just changed. I said "thank you" and was hung up on with nothing more said. If we're out of the delivery area then remove it from your online system and double check the pizza before driving out of the delivery area and when you screw up, it would be nice to hear an apology and a nice person on the other end of the line. Read moreHad to change from 5 to 1. Reason is that I can order online no problem but when we call they tell us we are out of the delivery area. We wont order from the website (which accepts our order and payment) now because we're convinced they'll do something to the pizza. Here's the thing. They told us that they changed the area when we explained how they've delivered many times to us. Strange; that I saw a chanticlear delivery guy on our road the day before they said that. Also strange that we are in their area according to their online map and their ordering application.
I can understand that the line has to be drawn somewhere. But if according to all your maps and website we are in the line then I think its kind of BS that suddenly we can't order (and our neighbors, on our block, still can).
PS. We tipped 10 dollars minimum cash on every single order ever brought here. I doubt the drivers had an issue with delivering here.
