Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Ham Lake

Where to start... DQ is my favorite fast food restaurant. Worked there for 3 years as a kid. This DQ is by far the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been too. I live .9 miles away from this restaurant and have been there many times over the past year. On two completely separate occasions I received a pop with no ice in the drink. How is that possible to receive a pop with 1 ice cube? My favorite blizzard is a double fudge cookie dough. I have ordered this no less then 10 times and only 1 time did I receive an actual double fudge cookie dough blizzard. Most of them are basically just Vanilla ice cream with a few Chunks of cookie dough and a tiny bit of cold fudge, melted and sloppy. Today I bought a chili and cheese dog that was the most pathetic excuse for a dog that was half covered in chili sauce. The wait was about 25 min for a burger and chicken strip basket, the fries were cold in both meals I received and were double fried. I worked in the kitchen for 3 years I know what double fried French fries taste and look like. It’s a not good. Of all the meals I’ve received from this restaurant the vast majority have been bad and not worth a return experience. This DQs food quality is terrible, the staff is completely miss managed. They aren’t capable of handling a normal dinner or lunch rush. People wait and they complain constantly. It’s a shame. If I didn’t like DQ as much I would suggest not to...

I wanted to take my sister out for a treat before I went back to college. We ordered a Reese's Extreme Blizzard and a Raspberry Fudge Bliss Blizzard through the drive thru but they were out of peanut butter cups and raspberry. They were very nice and offered strawberry as a substitute for the bliss blizzard. In place of the Reese's blizzard I order a Double Fudge Cookie Dough Blizzard. The wait in the drive thru was long but is to be expected when most work places are understaffed. Eating my blizzard as we drove away (the cookie dough one) I got half way through and realized that I had not found any cookie dough. I finished the blizzard and they did not add a single piece of cookie dough to the blizzard, so I basically got a cup of chocolate ice cream when my receipt shows what I actually ordered. This DQ has had issues for years with most aspects of their menu, the ice cream usually comes half melted by the time you receive it. I will no long be going to this location and will instead go to the location in St. Francis as it is the same drive length and is always consistent. Understanding that it was a busy night, I still do not understand the disorganization and forgetfulness of the employees. 4 out of 6 orders that I witnessed were brought out with incorrect items. We had to go back to the counter twice to get the correct items we ordered and still two items were forgotten. Saturday nights are busy nights for the fast food industry so it is very important to have good staff that knows what they are doing, or at least a good manager to direct them... neither of which they had. The employees were trying to help but they had no rhyme or reason to their actions and performed in the most inefficient way possible. I also witnessed several employees touch food items with bare hands. I don't understand how so many items were simply "forgotten." This is something you do every day and there needs to be some sort of system in place so things are not consistently left out. They need to learn to work together as a team and train their employees to work more effectively and...
