DVS Crosstown Mall — Local services in Ham Lake

Hi, I'm gonna tell you, usually when I go to the DMV, the workers kind of keep their heads down and they ł leave you like you've put them out for doing their job, humph.

Well this time when I went in their, I'm sorry honey I forgot your name, was really nice, we even had a normal nice conversation. It sure makes all of the things you have to purchase go quicker and she knew what she was doing. Pleasant, smart, polite, funny, kind the lady that helped me. That was at Ham Lake DMV, my appointment was at 1130am on March 5th, 2021. She just breezed right through the whole process and answered all my questions. Dept. Of vehicle services, was there around 3:10 didn't get out till 4:25. It was a C/F 2 people on counter and 1 was gone from counter and wasn't while away. 4th person came from backroom a few times with stacks of paper. Was trying to get license renewed, even tho I was there b4 3:30 I wasn't able to get an enhanced DL SINCE IT WAS SO DAMN SLOW AND NOT ENOUGH HELP AND THE ONE PERSON WASN'T TRAINED TO DO ALL OPERATIONS AGUY NEXT TO ME WAS DELAYED BECAUSE OF IT....SMH I SHOULD HAVE WENT TO ISANTI...

I unfortunately just moved here from Hennepin County where I actually often had very efficient service. I've been in twice, one time walked straight back out. This time I waited for an hour before walking out. The time at the counter is incredibly long. I don't know if they're all learning a new system or their internet is dial up, but this is the slowest moving license center I've ever seen. Here's hoping third time is the charm with my appointment...
