First time here tonight, it was glorious! We had Bosco stix w/ ranch and marinara as an appetizer. My hubs got their burger which is made with 3 mixtures of meats and served with fries. And I ordered their weekly signature pizza (chicken Alfredo sauce with fresh baked on mozzarella, tomatoes and basil (whole leaves, not pesto). All of it was SO good/tasty! We ordered drinks (diet coke and an Alaskan amber on draft). For the amount of food and drinks we ordered we expected to pay around $45 and that's just what our bill came out to. This is my new favorite place to get a meal and we will be regulars. The owner also runs the Ovations catering next door so it's not surprising the food and drinks are truly quality. I'm not sure if anyone else feels this way but I feel like quality really went downhill in most restaurants in the aftermath of the pandemic. That's not the case for 36 Social. They have figured out a way to keep prices low and quality high despite the challenges many businesses are facing. Go here, you won't be disappointed!!! Oh and on Fridays the owner Pat says a band plays, so an added bonus of entertainment!!! We didn't order cocktails but the lady next to me mentioned that one Choco martini went down so smoothly, she didn't even realize it had booze in it. Good solid pours here! No need to order doubles in your cocktails! They already come...
Read moreFinally got a chance to check out 36 Social, which is no easy feat since they’re hardly ever open. What a damn shame this place is. We ordered a whiskey sour and a Long Island. Two drinks right off their menu. Whiskey sour came in a beer mug, was all sour mix. The Long Island though — I couldn’t tolerate it. Hands down the worst one I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. We left both drinks mostly untouched on the table, paid the check and left. I think their food might be better but we didn’t try it after being so turned off by the drinks. They have a good selection of spirits so I think the potential could be there, but they need to hire a good, trained, certified bartender. We have no plans to go back...
Read moreI had a well poured shot of Blantons. They were , generous. I sipped half of it and made good connections with the perceived owner. He gave me a free tasting, generous tasting of Penelope Toasted. Then after half of my blantons shared with me the smoke. Blantons is my favorite bourbon, I really don’t drink liquor anymore but I make exceptions. Blantons has a nice smooth mouth feel but can feel a slight burn on my tongue after. Once I tried the smoke ( half way through the pour I was given) I didn’t feel the tongue burn after the smooth mouth feel. It was unique, and I would reserve it for the...
