1 star for service and food. 0 for atmosphere.
It’s convenient because I live and work in this town and don’t always have the time to drive to the next closest one. I have a few things to say because it’s kind of ridiculous how this location operates.
I am not sure about other locations… but this one doesn’t open until 6am. It hasn’t for months now. I can’t even place a mobile order until 6:30am… just to make sure they are actually open. I’ve placed an order before at like 6:15 and went to get it around 6:20 and they didn’t have it because they just opened. Might as well open at 6:30 at that point.
I’m sure this ties into the later opening times. But there is never a consistent person working there. The roll over at this specific location is insane. I’m not sure if it’s more of a training location… or if the manager is not great (which would explain many things). Just an observation… and I’m sure it impacts the consistency of how the coffee is made… where 1 month it’s worth it and the next month it’s a waste.
In the past (when I lived in the next town over) I would put my mobile order in and it would still not be ready. This also ties into #1. It was a 15 minute drive… and my 1 coffee and 1 bagel wasn’t ready. Plus I had to often wait another 10+ mins for my order. It could be a dead quiet morning or average. Didn’t matter.
this is my visit there today after about a month or avoiding this place. My large coffee wasn’t filled to the top (there was 1/2 inch of missing coffee and a ton of ice). On top of that… it tastes burnt. Super bitter burnt. I don’t have time to wait 20 mins for a new one.
So I again will be going to another location (or just getting iced coffee premade when I grocery shop). This location just isn’t worth it anymore. Ever since the pandemic it feels like the bar there has been set extremely low for employees. Burnt bitter coffee, it takes approximately 20 mins to do a mobile order, partially filled coffee, missing items, unpleasant workers… you name it. This...
Read moreI love me some Dunkin, but wasn't too thrilled to see a guy walk in and tell his buddy behind the counter that he needed "more coffee and a couple sandwiches." This was not a 'call-ahead', he just skipped the line, went right to his buddy, got his food, made some small talk with his buddy and DID NOT PAY! This happened while the line was growing out the door. The woman behind the counter saw what was happening and tried to make it better by giving me an extra order of hash browns because I was just standing there like a dope while the 'freebie' guy was getting special treatment (thank you to the woman behind the counter). Took me over 20 minutes to get a coffee & hash browns, when some dude walks in, slides in front of me and gets free stuff. What a life, must be awesome for him. I wish I could have friends at DD like he does!
Needless to say, I was...
Read morethis morning i went here and literally the woman with the blonde hair in a bun who needs her roots done had a horrible attitude and then she burnt everyones croissants it was the worst sandwich i’ve ever eaten in my whole life and the whole entire store smelled like burnt bread. we also sat there and waited for our food for so long, my friend even had to ask for his donuts, (you shouldn’t have to wait for your donuts you should get them at the counter when you order) maybe the owner and management should take a class on how to run a dunkin or just come visit gloucester because this would never happen...
