Heaven Sent — Restaurant in Hamilton

I would give ZERO stars if I could! My visit yesterday (12/21/2021) was the first and last time I will set foot into this "Christian" establishment. My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I went in looking to buy a personalized gift for Christmas. Total, there were 7 people in the store. The owner, her daughter, 2 gentlemen, and our party of 3. The owner was pleasant enough. While waiting for the gift to be wrapped, we struck up conversations with the super friendly gentleman at the food counter and the older gentleman eating his food. My SIL wandered around looking at stuff, then she hears the daughter say something about "getting the white trash out of here" to the man behind the counter, which we later find out is the stepson of the owner. He was so embarrassed, but he even confirmed what she said! We were being polite and quiet! After realizing she had been heard, the daughter ran to the back, out of sight. Naturally, we walked out and won't be back. The stepson did stop by to apologize for what happened and offered the gift for free, which was accepted.

To the owner, we'll pray for your daughter. She obviously needs it. I hope you can find someone truly good to help run your store and not treat undeserving customers as such. She'll be costing you sales.

Heaven Sent is exceptionally wonderful,its like waking back in time,as you walk in cafe the smell of home Cooked food takes over your senses, You are welcomed with delightful hellos,from the patrons them selves. Debbie and her daughter are amazing! Giving everyone a warm and loving welcome that comes in the door. Adjacent to the cafe is thier wonderful Bookstore and gift shop with the most unique gifts... absolutely beautiful wind chimes of every kind! I didn't have the pleasure of eating there that morning but everything smelled absolutely delicious and I can't wait to go back to try the food and to shop a little more.
