I had the pleasure of visiting the newly revamped Sweden Crème Ice Shop, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! This beloved local gem is back in business, sporting a fresh facelift that perfectly complements the inviting atmosphere. As soon as I stepped in, I was greeted by a burst of vibrant colors and a cheerful ambiance that instantly puts you in the mood for a treat.
One of the highlights of my visit was, without a doubt, their Dole Whip Float. The perfect blend of creamy pineapple goodness topped with a refreshing twist was perfect for these hot summer days. It’s incredible to see such a classic treat served alongside delicious options like their fantastic Dixie burgers. Each bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, making it a must-try for anyone stopping by.
What really sets Sweden Crème apart from other ice cream shops in the area is their pricing. In a time when many local spots are charging a premium for similar treats, Sweden Crème offers incredibly competitive prices without sacrificing quality. It’s refreshing to find a place that understands the importance of great value while still delivering on taste.
The service was another standout feature during my visit. The staff were not only friendly and attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They were eager to help with recommendations and made sure I felt welcomed throughout my time there.
Another bonus is the ample outdoor dining space and ample parking. It’s a fantastic spot to enjoy your treats in the fresh air, perfect for families and friends looking to soak up the sunshine while indulging in some old-fashioned ice cream shop fun.
Overall, Sweden Crème Ice Shop is a must-visit destination for anyone in the Lindenwald or Hamilton area. With its delightful array of delicious treats, reasonable prices, and a warm atmosphere, it's clear why it remains a local favorite. I can't wait to return and explore more of...
Read moreBeen coming every weekend all spring for eats and treats. Several times I was treated rudely, they messed up my orders, missing ingredients (they run out of chili often) and a mysterious "soda tax" that no one else charges. Also if you do not tip, you get mean looks, spoken to gruffly and made to wait extra long for your order. I had been holding off on a review because my experience has not been consistent. The food (when they have it) is good and fairly priced. Some of the employees are nice and seem competent. But tonight sealed my opinion. Please avoid at all costs, go down to UDF and Burger King, Sweden Creme is not worth the gamble. Decided to treat the family to burgers and ordered a 20 sack. When I requested that 5 burgers have no onion I was told that was impossible. The only way they could do it was to ring it all up seperate, which would not matter except it was like $15 more expensive. I cannot even comprehend a business that can function in this manner. In the 21st century you cannot just order a burger how you want without being taken advantage of and made to pay. I am deeply dissapointed at the blatent greed and thoughtless spitefulness that infests my local neighboorhood icecream parlor where I routinely take my family. I do my best to shop local and support the city so this...
Read moreReasonable prices and the staff was very friendly. The chicken sandwich we had was AMAZING. I’ll be back just for that sandwich or to try a tender basket. It was freshly fried chicken with amazing breading. I wasn’t expecting that from an ice cream stand. But a couple things could use improvement:
It took a long time for our order to come out, and when it did, it was very broken up. I.e. we would get one of our items and then someone else would get one of their items, then we would get another one of our items, and so on and so forth, vs one whole order at a time/one customer being focused on. We were very patient with this but I could see many other people getting aggravated. My young kids also were confused because they couldn’t understand why us adults had their items and people who ordered after us had their stuff but not our kids. My best guess though is that the staff were trying to time our order so that we didn’t have ice cream melting everywhere while our food was being made fresh to order, which we can understand.
Add a kiddie cone to the menu. This ...
