I posted my review and then I felt like I might’ve been being too harsh so I deleted it and then I went and read some of the other recent reviews. And you most definitely have one young woman in there who is just rude.
I had to repeat myself four times and on the fourth time I got a little bit louder because if I’m repeating myself four times maybe I’ll raise my voice just a little bit so they can hear me better.
She then cuts me off. Tells me that I’m being rude and literally starts yelling at me about the fact that I’m being rude and I don’t have to be rude to somebody just because they’re training. As if I have any knowledge of that as a customer who entered your drive-through and all I had to do was continuously repeat myself. I wasn’t rude as I repeated myself two and three times. I never got rude. I was simply giving you my order. You yelled at me cut me off told me to pull to the front window. You should not be working a job where you interact with people and you should most definitely not be training anybody.
Now to the young man who I asked to speak to when I got up to the front to make sure that my order was correct and figure out why I was yelled at, He is mature, professional, and kind. The young lady who I would assume is training because she also had a headset on and wasn’t hiding from me and was very obviously new, You are doing a great job. Do not follow the example of the young lady training you. To be preemptively, aggressive, and rude with customers will never get you anywhere good and it seems like she has a pattern based off of some of these reviews. My four-year-old child literally said “ She should learn better behavior s” after this interaction. If my four-year-old child is able to assess the situation with emotional intelligence and your trainer cannot there is a problem. I go through this drive-through more often than I’d like to admit because me and my daughter love the ice cream and it’s a special little thing that we do together. You didn’t even confirm my order with me. I would’ve let the whole thing go, but you were so rude. You refuse to confirm my order and just told me to go to the front window and stop being rude to you when you were literally yelling at me through your little headset. I suggest self reflection because behaviors like that will not lead to a successful life. If you’re continuously getting negative reactions to the way you speak to people maybe you need to reassess how you speak to people.
Not that anybody actually reads these reviews and cares considering every single response is a copy paste answer of the one above it when the business response but figured I’d leave a...
Read moreDefinitely love coming here, sometimes I just go to sit with some friends, but after looking through the reviews, I noticed people complaining about the service, I personally haven’t had an experience with the service being bad and if they did something wrong, it was just a quick check and they seem completely fine. I understand people are Judging the work based off the young people working behind the counter, but in reality, these kids are not lazy and they’re not slow and they’re just trying to do a job that some of them might need.(People should be more considerate and stop calling them lazy for doing a job that clearly you’ve never worked seeing as you complain over small interactions ) I stayed till closing once, but I was waiting for a friend, and the people complaining about how the kids want people to leave are overall judging on the fact that they want to” Get back on their phones” When in reality, if you’ve ever worked a day and customer service and food, you will know that they just want to leave and go home as they do not normally leave until 11 o’clock. Overall, I love the feeling of walking into this Dairy Queen and seeing the bright young people in the new people coming into this amazing workplace! Truly, an amazing place with clearly customers who have never worked in industry quite like this, before complaining about the smallest things in the smallest accidents, maybe try to open your eyes that these kids are still learning and will not be perfect. Not everyone loves their jobs, but I would definitely enjoy working at an ice cream place like this, even just eating there and seeing the kids interact with each other and having a good time is something I can say I’ve never seen in a cubicle office. Definitely an amazing place. I enjoy the cakes and I enjoy the ice cream and I love the...
Read moreMy children and I have been going to this Dairy queen location for many years, sometimes several times a week. Tonight was our first time having an unpleasant experience. I went through the Drive-through and ordered 1 small vanilla shake, 2 small chocolate shakes, a blizzard and a float. The individual at the drive-through asked me "one or two chocolate shakes?" I repeated two chocolate shakes and one vanilla. She said "okay" and gave me the total. I pulled up to the window, paid and looked over my receipt. I noticed they rang me up for one chocolate shake, one vanilla shake, the blizzard and float. When the girl came to the window and handed me my ice cream (didn't do the flip thing of the blizzard. Even though I could care less about that) I brought it to her attention. She told me to hold on a second. She then came back and said "my manager said we can't add to your order". I proceeded to tell her that I understand that if I was decided to add something last minute bit they messed up my order. She proceeded to tell me that there is nothing she can do and that she would fix the problem if her manager would allow her. So I went back in line so that one of my kids wouldn't be without. They in no way tried to fix the mistake of an employee and just made things more difficult...
