The Hampden house is a wonderful place. The professional staff. Foods good. It just has no variation in the menu. It's like stuck. And I mean this with the utmost respect. I think it would be lovely to see a choice of a porterhouse. Prime rib. Lobsters.hole belly Clams. A favorite this time of year. Veal marsala. Dream of having that. Barely can find that anywhere. It's a wonderful atmosphere. Very personable employees. I just feel the menus are excellent. The quality the portions are fantastic. It's just the menu over the years hasn't changed. It's like a stick stuck in the mud. I would like nothing more than to have prime rib. Or veal Marcella. But I have to go to Connecticut. I like to spend my money in the community that I live in. In the portions of pasta are great. It's an inexpensive filling a plate with. There was a chance for big porterhouse prime rib lobsters. Hole belly clams. With a variation in your menu. It would be wonderful. I know you make your money on alcohol. And that's part of a business. But I don't drink. I want to go out and spend 80 or more dollars. on myself. And enjoy different meals that can be offered as the seasons change. I would truly enjoy a prime rib. Porterhouse steak. Whole belly clams. In much more of a variation in your menu. Your chefs are fantastic. But I feel it's repetition food. I go there for the food the Hampden house. Not for the alcohol. or the chatter at the bar. A place to deeks accelerate and have an enjoyable meal with a variation. In the menu based on the seasons produce. In this area of New England. Not a methodical. Plate that's always made the same. And I'll still go to your place it's wonderful. But I would definitely go more off in a couple times a week. If the menu would have some variation. Prices is not question. My focus is on variation of main plates. And not having to go out of town of Hampden. The other restaurants can serve A variation based on the seasons. I'll always enjoy going to your restaurant. The staff is wonderful the food is prepared fantastic for what you offer. But it needs. Some different meals added to your menu. With the utmost respect. And I brought it up before. And have seen no change.. and I'm disappointed in the. I don't want to go down the Summers. For prime rib. Or veal Marcel. Or go or go get whole belly steamers. Cuz I have to go to Big y for them. And prepare myself. I'd rather pay good money for good service and have a variation in your menu. That seems to be a stick stuck in the mud. With theutmost...

I ordered takeout tonight for dinner, I called around 6:30 on a Friday. I was on the way already when I called so I stopped for a bottle of wine on the way and was there a few minutes early for when they said it would be ready, checked in at the hostess stand and then sat down and listened to music and waited. I wasn’t in a rush and was happy to wait, but you could tell they were busy. Not surprised, the food is always great.

I had been waiting a little bit and a guy in an arm brace, whose name I didn’t get checked in with me to confirm I had been helped, which I confirmed. At this point it was probably ten minutes later than I was quoted originally. The hostess checked in right after that as well. They were very apologetic for my wait, which I honestly didn’t mind a bit considering I was ordering at their busiest time of the week.

The food was ready a minute later and they apologized again. Arm brace man hooked it up with a gift card for the inconvenience, which I didn’t think was necessary but a very nice gesture. I come here regularly and have always had good service, but tonight was standout.

Also special thanks to the hostess for finding a birthday candle and sticking it in with the cheesecake, it was a big hit. I’ll be back soon for sure, and you go should eat here...

I ordered a large take out order Friday 8/22 around 7pm. Hostesses were very disorganised. I paid for my order and waited for it. When I received it, I walked out to my car and another hostess with light hair yelled to me saying I didn’t pay and needed to come back inside with all the food. It was embarrassing as there were several other people in the parking lot hearing the employee insinuate that I was stealing. I went back in, they found the receipt that I did pay and never apologised. I get that there may be some instances where someone has stolen a take out, but falsely accuse me of stealing in front of other customers was very embarrassing. A simple apology would have been acceptable the hostess rudely waved me off after she found my receipt. I use to work in the restaurant industry and am understanding and patient when honest mistakes are made. But this sort of behaviour was just outright unacceptable. I hope management trains the front to be more organised and kinder to...

The food here was delicious. It did take awhile for food to come out and that was because one of our members of the group ordered a pizza (we were in main dining room) which apparently is half off in the bar area, which apparently causes a delay in food, which apparently means we were told that maybe not ordering pizza on a Monday is a good idea. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Other than that, the drinks were delicious and the food quality was really good. I had the simply grilled chicken, risotto and broccoli with strawberry sauce and it was rather delicious. The pizza was great, my 11 year old loved her burger and everyone seemed happy with the quality of food. But I would return and try some other menu items as everything I tasted was really quite delicious!

Cute cafe with a great view from the outdoor patio! The patio seating could have been more comfortable. Being outdoors, the table was dirty (dust/pollen), and we did need to ask for it to be wiped down. We had a brussel sprout appetizer that was pretty good. The smaller pieces were overly crispy, but the bigger ones were perfect! I had the Drunken Lobster pasta - definitely recommend! It is creamy and rich with just the right amount of lobster. For dessert, I had the caramel cheesecake. It was good, but it is not "eat off the floor" cheesecake (if you know, you know).

My wife and I were looking forward to a good meal on a hot day with a new baby at home and ordered takeout. The wedge salads were $11 a piece, and you can see from the images that we paid $22 for a head of iceberg lettuce that didn't even have the core removed, and a couple crumbs of bacon. We understand many restaurants are short staffed right now, but asking customers to pay for this is unacceptable for any reason.
