The Ocean Wok is a place that looks a ideal place to visit as there's not much for compensation in the area bit unfortunately you can run into a nightmare as I did granted the servers and what looks to be the owner where pleasant right from the start I had been sitting down looking at the menu getting ready to place my order and I notice that my silverware where not clean and at fist I thought that maybe it's water mark's from a dishwasher until I picked it up and it was sticky so I called the waitress over and kindly ask if she can correct this by replacing the silverware and she did rapidly without skipping a beat so where only human so I think this was just a hiccup and continue to place my order and the food arrives in I commence to eat and I noticed that some of the food was not thoroughly cooked so I set it aside by this time I'm exhausted and hungry and I will ask them to replace it when I get to that portion of the meal so then I am noticing that some of the food that how was supposed to come with my order did not arrive so I kindly asked if there was a change in the menu or if I was going to get the rest of my order and the waitress apologized and went and got the rest of the order a little confused and frustrated at this moment I forgot to mentioned the raw or undercooked food and then as I continue on this already discouraging & uncomforting visit to the Ocean Wok I started to notice hair in my food at this moment I am now Beyond Disturbed and Dissatisfied with this establishment that I just wanted do you just leave I called the waitress or asked her for the bill continue to pay so at the end of all this my review is solely the service and the kindness of the people that work there or at least the people that I doubt with but other than that the rest of this experience was so uncomfortable and quite...

Nǐ hǎo! I live in New York and spend most of my summer and a good part of the winter at the seacoast in New Hampshire. I keep a boat at Rye Harbor and Little Bay and have been coming to the seacoast area since I was a kid with my parents. I've been going to the Wok for about fifteen years now and love it there. The owner, hostesses and wait staff are always very friendly, smiling and helpful, the food is great, and the drinks are excellent. It's always busy for dinner and during the weekends, and is a favorite with the locals. Anita, Sarah, Sonny and the rest of the staff are always eager to recommend something delicious, and remember just about everybody that comes in, so you really feel at home. The menu is varied, the lunch special is a great deal, portions are generous, their specials are well thought out and sure to please, and the Chinese tea is fresh brewed at the table to order. The Hot and Sour soup is an excellent choice as well. It gets pretty busy on the weekends, especially at night, and summertime even more so, so there might be a short line at the door, but it's definitely worth the wait. Parking can be a little difficult, since parking anywhere on Ocean Boulevard is always at a premium, but with a little patience and a few minutes' wait, you're sure to get a spot. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Anita, Sarah, Sonny and everybody! See you in a few days for some Dry Kung Pao Chicken and a little hot tea, or maybe a couple of Mai Tai's! Xièxiè and...

I’m telling you the prices are up there and the portions SMALL.

WE ORDERED peking Ravioli, Shrimp fried rice and coconut shrimp.

Peking Ravioli was delish, but when i tell you we got 8 little and i mean little ravioli, i am not joking.

The Shrimp fried rice was delish too, but small portion too.

Coconut shrimp was dry.. and small.

You know, they got these small little take out containers, smaller than the other two Chines restaurants in Hampton, and they don’t even attempto fill them. It’s pathetic to charge so much, provide such little portions and honestly, you’d do far better at Peking in Hampton Center.

I’ve read reviews where people said the drinks are good. Well, let me tell you, there’s a ton of boozebags in this town, and maybe they don’t mind getting ripped off when they are all liquored up.

Price for my measely little portions, 38 bucks.... so, so, so not worth it.

Prediction.. they’ll go belly up before long. There’ll be a breakfast place there by next year at this time.

The owner doesn’t understand how to get and keep a loyal customer base, ot the experience would never be...

Really enjoyed eating here. Would come back! Positives: General Gau (aka General Tso) is VERY good! Loved the flavor and it came out fresh. The chicken was chicken pieces, not much fat. The fried dumplings were good! Look like a wonton, not the traditional dumpling, and has pork in it. Came out fresh and yummy. Service was great. They have fountain drinks. Cons: The fried rice wasn't fresh tasting. It was barely warm like it'd been sitting in a warmer. Its nice that it has bean sprouts, carrot chunks, peas, and chunks of egg. Probably wouldn't order again. The egg roll has pork pieces, the pink little pieces, and tasted like they were refried to warm up. Overall good. But not sure if I'd order them again. Definitely would come again. Want to try their scallion pancakes.

Two of us had dinner tonight and it was an excellent experience. Mathew and Sophia are the owners and greeted us and explained the specials. The wonton soup was classic with homemade wontons and a clear and flavorful broth. We ordered the mu shu pork with pancakes was very tasty and had plenty of different ingredients. The special was steamed fish with ginger sauce. This was the best I’ve ever had. Delicate blend which brought out the fish with ginger, soy, rice wine vinegar. Highly recommended. The portions were large. The food came out very fast. The service was great. This is classic Chinese food which is well made and wonderfully served. Bar is small but very busy. Price is excellent with more food than we could finish for $24 each.

This is the only Asian place I found at Hampton beach, there was a 15-20 minutes around 8pm. The menu is pretty big and at a great price! The egg rolls are pretty big and come at 2 for $5. The Vegetable Lo Mein was pretty good and the crispy tofu was spongy and kinda hard to chew but had a decent taste. There are very few waiters, took forever for someone to take the order. They leave the tables dirty for a very long time too, the one next to me stayed dirty the whole time I was there. Unusual: this place does not have soy sauce on the tables and they do not give you chopsticks.
