I always struggle finding tofu dishes in Charleston, but luckily this place offered it: tofu hibachi and tofu teriyaki. I got the teriyaki and it came with a huge tall jello-shot-sized yum yum sauce included!! Normally you'd pay extra for such a size! 10.99 tofu teriyaki price is a steallll with how big the takeout tray is! (I paid $3 extra to sub fried rice with lo mein noodles-- which were perfectly soft-firm and sauteed without an abundance of leftover sauce.) I will come again and try the hibachi tofu to see the seasoning difference. I was expecting small diced dry fried tofu, but the enormous takeout tray contained huge square slices of lightly-fried soft tofu! I think the teriyaki glaze didn't stick much to the tofu pieces and resided on the bottom of the tray. I think the veggies (zucchini, crisp broccoli, onions, fresh button mushrooms) mixed with the water from the tofu watered down the sauce.. I'm okay with a simply seasoned dish - so I know those that prefer food-court style teriyaki would not find this equivalent. This isn't gonna be Sanno's or Sarku. The yum-yum sauce tasted spot on with what you'd expect: slightly runny, slight mayo, and sweetness. If a restaurant catered to only one person's palette, then we wouldn't have many restaurants of many different cuisines - you know? So, try out these mom and pop food places and support their business and family with their rendition of their dishes that they put sweat into. After all, no restaurant business owner takes out loans to cook bad food.

I went to hibachi grill i’ve gone there several times before I always get a steak bowl well done... honestly the food is usually pretty good the customer service is never that good but today was horrible. I went in and I was on the phone to my nurse Which I asked her to hold for a moment I ordered a steak bowl well done. I got my food and left I got home. And noticed that it was shrimp not steak. I called to let them know, I wanted to have have them do a steak bowl and I would drive and pick it up. However I didn’t even get that far. The woman (Kesha or something like that) who took my order who is never friendly. Was downright RUDE!!!! She said I ordered shrimp well done. I said no mam steak well done. She said no it wasn’t .. I again said yes I know I did because I do NOT like shrimp and I do not eat shrimp. She said “I don’t care what you eat and what you don’t eat. You got what you ordered” I then asked to speak to the manager. She said well call after 6pm and hung up on me. I Will be looking for a new place to eat from now on. My recommendation—- find another place the food is pretty good but customer service it’s horrible, the inside is old and worn, and I took a photo of what was laying outside the door. Gross!! BEST Hibachi/Teriyaki Chicken I've had in a long time, maybe ever! We both ordered the Teriyaki Steak & Chicken. Steak tended to be a little tough/chewy but the teriyaki chicken, veggies, & rice were AWESOME! Chicken was moist, tender, slightly caramelized in places with the most fabulous teriyaki sauce, sweet but well balanced. Also served with Japanese White Sauce for dipping. This is an informal place. Order at counter, take out or eat in at one of several booths. Excellent service, super friendly staff. Very large quantity of food. My meal was so large I actually made it into 3 meals (lunch, dinner, and lunch again) from the Teriyaki Steak & Chicken. (Attached photo shows boyfriend's meal AFTER he had eaten lunch and dinner and was saving the rest for lunch the following day.) I will ABSOLUTELY be eating here again and would recommend it to others. (Note menu here includes hibachi/teriyaki meals plus a number of popular Chinese dishes but so far I've only had the teriyaki.) Reiterate that picture shows meal AFTER boyfriend ate it for lunch AND dinner - only wish we had thought to take pic before eating.

I went to this place on yesterday and I ordered the honey crisp chicken which came with fried rice and I wanted 2 of them but the young lady charged me for one. So I just went with it because I was going to get more food elsewhere anyways. So then she told me my total (which was the price of one meal) and I put my card in and I watched the screen say “approved” and also heard the sound of approval. Then she tells me to put my card in again because it didn’t go through so I did it, not thinking anything of it and also told her that it just said approved. So the transaction approved again and she tells me, “the machine is very slow and if it charged me twice that I would be refunded in 24 hours and I didn’t think that was right so I go out to my car, to my phone and check my account and there it was where I was charged twice and I have navy federal so it tells you right then when you’re charged for anything whether it’s “Posted” or “pending” and both charges from hibachi hut was “POS” (posted) now I came back in where she tried to avoid me but I kindly stopped her and said “ma’am, I was charged twice”. “Could you just give me another meal instead of the refund”? And she said “no, you will get your money back later or tomorrow” let me tell you all that may be reading this, The food was good and that’s why I give one star. But that’s it, the service was horrible and the way I was treated and overcharged was just overall a disgrace and is enough for me to never go back there again. She had no remorse. I got no apology. Just back and forth with this young lady. I’ve never been through anything like...

My wife has been sick and spent the weekend trying to relax and recover. I spent the day doing house cleaning and chords. So we decided that we didn't want to cook dinner and would order in.

I found this restaurant on Google and wife called to ask them if they delivered before I placed an order on their website. The gentleman who answered the phone asked her for our address and verified that yes they did deliver and our home was within their area.

I placed an order and waited for an hour and after not receiving our meal my wife called back and was told we would need to speak to the manager. She was the person with access to their online ordering system. After a few minutes she called my wife back and said that they do not deliver and that we needed to come pick my order up. I am already in sweats and getting dressed and going out to pick up what would be nearly 2 hours old food by the time I got it home was not an option.

So my wife asked the "manager" to just please refund our money and we would just eat grilled cheese for dinner at this point. The "manager" then told my wife to come pick up the food and hung up on her.

I have been doing reviews on Google for years and years and have done hundreds of reviews and this is my only 1 star review ever. Stay away from this business. Instead of an easy dinner at home now is going to be days of dealing with credit card...
