Salud Tacos + Tequila — Restaurant in Hanahan

Recently had Lunch there with my Boss for a Business lunch, and Loved the place. I had recently moved to SC from AZ so Mexican Cuisine is something Im very familiar with, and I can say with chest that the food is VERY GOOD.

I had the Lunch Special Rice with chicken and it was flavorful and cheesy without being one note. The house Queso is super cheesy and creamy, and Portions are fair sized. Service is very prompt and kind but also give you space to enjoy your meal and company.

The motif is more modern with murals and art on the walls, and they have a Bar so drinks are plentiful option wise. The music choice fits the theme but isn't crazy loud so you can enjoy it or tune it out easily enough.

All in all a great place with fair prices, ranging from 9-16$ average per plate and a Large buffet style Taco Platter for 40$. Will definitely...

The margaritas are SO GOOD. The margarita menu is extensive, eclectic, and delicious! We tried the Pineapple Habanero (sweet, spicy, and adorably decorated Ina pineapple glass with dried pineapple garnish), MCC (sweet and yummy with a mangoy/strawberry flavor), a 4 flavor frozen margarita flight (mango, strawberry, peach, watermelon), and the Tamarindo (spicy and sweet with a tamarind dipped straw!).

The food looked great as it passed by us, but let's keep it real -- margaritas. This is THE PLACE for an extensive margarita, mimosa, and flight menu like you can't imagine.

Also? Nancy, our bartender, is AMAZING. Be sure to get her if you sit at the bar. She is knowledgeable, fun, and reads customers like a savant. She recommended the guava frozen margarita when we weren't considering it and she was...

We drove from Johns island to try Salud. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Jabraun (sp?) took great care of us at the bar. I love that the stools and chairs in the restaurant are very comfortable. The outdoor patio is great for a meal or drinks on a warm day. My husband had the Salud Borrito. He said it was the best he has ever had. It was very big but he ate it all. I had wings and fries. (Don't judge me) I love their wings! The salsa and cheese dip was fantastic, of course. The bar is fully stocked with whatever you like and the drinks are delicious. Carlos treats us like family. Everyone who works there seems to be happy to be there. The atmosphere is wonderful. Parking is plentiful....
