Mowgli's Cafe — Restaurant in Hanksville

I recently visited Mowglis and was quite disappointed with my experience. We tried to go twice, hoping to grab a latte, but both times the shop was unexpectedly closed. To make matters worse, their hours were listed inconsistently across different platforms—on the front door, on their website, and on Google—all showing different days for when they’re open and closed. It was frustrating not knowing when the shop would actually be open, especially after making the effort to visit. Super cute coffee shop in such a remote area! Be careful opening the door if it is busy as there is no room for people to stand except in front of the door. Perhaps a door that opens outward will better serve the crowds of people that will be stopping here for the delicious drinks and baked goods they serve. 4 stars only for service because the young girl at the counter didn't make eye contact or smile or anything when waiting on us, and it was before noon and most of the baked goods were sold out. Mowglis is inside an old tire and oil change shop that's been renewed to a cozy, cool coffee shop! I had the Americano cold, and a toasted blueberry bagel with cream cheese. The coffee was rich and very good and the bagel was toasted perfect. I would definitely recommend this cute coffee house after a long day hiking in hanksville or for your morning stop for joe.
