Pizza L'Oven — Restaurant in Hanover Township

Sunday, 06/23/2024, 4:30pm. Long time customer. We were the first ones in when they opened, the first ones seated and the first ones to order. What did we order? A tossed salad with no onion, 24 wings, and a 14 cut tray. 2 with onion, and 12 without.

The waitress was a younger female. We didn't remember her name. The drinks came out quick, and the wings came out quickly also. As we sat there waiting for our pizza, the waitress came over once to ask how the wings were and if we needed anything else. As we're sitting there watching everyone after us getting their pizza, she came over at 5:23pm to tell us that they screwed up making the pizza by putting the onion on the wrong way and they're now starting a new one. Are you kidding me? Starting a new one almost an hour later? Ugh!!

This is where I am extremely irritated. Why did it take almost an hour for us to be told that? It explains why she didn't come over very often. Check your cameras. I immediately told her my displeasure with the situation and told her to take it off the bill, I don't want it now. She kept apologizing, and she looked upset, and she should be. She brought the check and she told me she ook off the salad. Then, when paying the check, i told the other waitress who took care of us what happened, and she also apologized. Our original waitress came out and gave us our pizza boxed up, telling us she told the cooks to pull it out of the oven and box it. I don't think it's fully cooked.

The 2 of us, we don't ask for much. A decent setting, great service, and good food. The service was terrible. First, the cooks screw up, and then the waitress doesn't tell us till an hour later. The food, well, we came there for pizza and weren't able to enjoy it. It ruined the atmosphere.

As far as we're concerned, you didn't make it right. Comping the whole meal would have because it was a major screw up in my book. I know I'm repeating myself, but I can't help saying again, waiting almost an hour to tell us is uncalled for. It's very...

This place was the most rudest place I have been too. First off we get there and I hear a table that’s been sitting there for about one he before we walked in there. Asking the waitress where there food was and she didn’t say much to them. I was oh boy let’s just sit down so me and my family sat down at the table the waitress came over and asked what we wanted to drink we told her when she came back she said ready to order so we ordered our food French onion soup tasted like dish water. Gross. I have ordered a dozen of wings dried out burnt oily red sauce on it so hard I couldn’t eat them. My friend ordered an Stromboli well we didn’t see that at all waiting almost 1 1/2 hrs later and still waiting lol cousin ordered pizza old forge she wanted 5 onion and 2 pepperoni well that didn’t happen what she got was all onion and 5 pepperoni. We have ordered appetizers well they came with the meal. The whole point of an appetizer is it comes out before the meal not with it I have asked the waitress where’s the appetizer she said there coming now granted we were getting our meals at this point I was like I don’t want my appetizer with my meals. Well it happened. Nasty people there and the manager well she claimed to be then changed her name to managers daughter well honey I don’t care who you were u have a nasty attitude for a business owner. Well all I do know is that me and my family will never eat there again...

This place used to have good food... I was very disappointed.My wife and my son and I stopped for dinner.My sons chicken finger platter was hard as a rock.French fries tasted like rubber must have been in the freezer for a long time.My hamburger was overcooked.Tray of pizza had hardly any sauce and little bit of cheese.What happened to this place.We got up paid our bill and left. Was not worth my money.I was in disbelief as to how food can be served like that.Does anyone check the food going out.Seems like the waitress also dropped the ball on our order .Not paying attention to detail. VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER.

Update 10/3/2025 My relatives stopped to get food and bring it to my house without me knowing.. Well guess what… Hasn’t changed.. they got two pizzas a cheesesteak hoagie and an order of fries was $65. That’s insane. This place is really raking a customers and you asked them for a menu so you could take home and they said they don’t have any. I could see why they don’t want you to see what the stuff cost. Anyhow, the two pizzas were dry. The cheesesteak was like cardboard and the french fries were like rubber undercooked if they would’ve only told me they were going there I would’ve stopped them. How do you get away with selling food like this at an extraordinary prices do yourselves a favor and stay away we would’ve had a better meal at McDonald’s and it wouldn’t cost...
