We had two things here that were out of this world, A++: 1.) The Cold Brew Coffee ice cream. Color: white. Flavor: perfectly coffee-strong in all of the right ways! 2.) Fluffernutter (or whatever-majigger) Dark Milk Chocolate candy bar with peanut butter and nougat fluff. OMG OMG OMG: we loved it! Sweet. Fluffy. Milky. Melty. Dark and delicious. I'm only going from memory on the names and ingredients so do check the website for actuals. The third thing that we had here which was delicious was the Cherry Almond ice cream. High quality and rich. The sprinkles are optional and you get two choices: the red and white sprinkles are vanilla flavored and the rainbow sprinkles are ... i don't even know but assuming more fruity-ish. (Why have I never paid attention to the exact flavor of rainbow sprinkles?) I walked by Red Kite a few times, yet never stopped in. Then while at a concert in Vermont, I found a Red Kite pop-up ice cream station in a food truck forest. The line was consistently long for hours and never died-down. So finally after realizing there would likely not be a shorter line, I got in it and waited for my first scoop of Red Kite. I was surprised to find out that you cannot buy this ice cream anywhere but in Hanover, NH unless you find a rare pop-up. There are no other Red Kite candy and ice cream shops beyond the Dartmouth location in Hanover. The merchandising and design of this Hanover shop is charming and immersive. You truly do feel that you've left your cares at the curb and stepped into a red and white picnic-checkered, kite flying dream filled with the sweet smells of chocolates and other blissful, sugary...

January 2023 Bought these delicious caramels for the first time in Stowe, and on our way to Boston, stopped at their store to get more so that we could take them back home to Florida. They are absolutely amazing. Their ice cream and homemade waffle cone are also to die for. The owner, Elaine, and her son were so warm and courteous.💯 recommended 👌

January 2024 On our way back from visiting my brother from Canada, I begged my husband to stop at Red Kite Candy again. I couldn't believe that the owner and her son remembered us from our visit last year. Of course, we bought more candy and ate their delicious ice cream. Their homemade waffle cone is the best! To my surprise, the owner included a gift and a personal note, which I discovered when we returned home to Florida. Thank...

We love Red Kite! My husband and I come several times a week. The ice cream is amazing (see previous sentence about how addicted I am to their ice cream...), but what also makes Red Kite special is the ambiance and the love and care put into the shop display and products. Coming here is an e-x-p-e-r-i-e-n-c-e, from the twinkly lights outside to the adorable little cone holder that holds your ice cream while you pay. I feel like this isn't something you come by a lot nowadays when dining out. I also love that they're open during the winter and that they make everything in-house (both the ice cream and the cones). Keep up the great work! What you're doing is very much appreciated by...

I discovered Red Kite Candy years ago at a triathlon exposition and used the caramels to fuel my Ironman race (which was the best part of the race!). I was exploring Hanover the other day and was ecstatic to stumble across the brick and mortar store. I bought caramels, tried an incredible s'more chocolate bar and ate about five different kinds of the ice cream. Everything to eat there is so delicious you want to savor each and every bite. I don't live anywhere near Hanover, but Red Kite Candy will be a destination for me for years to come!
