Starbucks — Restaurant in Hanover

If I could give the service less than one star I would. I went to the Shaws Starbucks last night for their promotion for a free cup with purchase. When I arrived no one was at the counter. I waited 10 minutes and asked the Shaws worker at the self check out. The women at self check out said to try paging “Ellis” I think was the Starbucks employee’s name. The nice young man did that for me. This extremely rude young women came yelling around the corner at him saying why did you page me. I said he paged you for me. I was wondering if you still have the cup special. She said Yay but I am not taking any orders I am on break. I asked when she would be back and she rudely said 15 minutes. She grabbed her backpack and stormed away from me as she yelled at the very sweet Shaws employee “Don’t ever page me again!” This behavior to any person is unacceptable. First to treat a customer the way she treated me was disgusting. But to treat a fellow worker like he was worthless and to degrade him in front of customers and co-workers is beyond my understanding. She was a rude horrible person. I will never visit another Starbucks again if they continue to allow this young women to get away with treating people like this. FYI: I did not wait for her to...

Honestly despite some issues here in the past it never kept me away. But eliminating menu items at new request of Shaws bc they are threatened by starbucks competition with their bakery IS enough to keep me away when there are three other starbucks locations in close proximity.

Its funny to me that Shaws feels threatened by basic food items. But honestly.. maybe those in management need to take some business classes. More people being drawn to your location increases chances of a sale. While, less people being drawn decreases chances of a sale.

I for one will not be returning to this location given the choice of 3 other nearby locations that do not have limited menus. If they change their mind on this policy too bad I probably...

To those on the south shore who cannot deviate from Starbucks in their daily / weekly intake ,- this location always makes every drink perfectly. There is rarely a line which is the reason I love choosing this location to get my coffee/ latte fix. The staff is efficient and quick. My favorites include their Honey Oat Milk Latte, and their Pink Drink with Coconut Milk for my daughter. If you’re thinking about time efficiency and willing to get out of your car, I think they deliver the best drinks in the timeliest manner....
