I came here with my friend because we wanted to try the Droopys snowball that we saw all over TikTok. The line was long but expected because of the popularity, they even offered umbrellas at the very front but I do feel as if they should have more covering because a lady passed out from the heat while we were there. We kept wondering what flavor the âDroopysâ was because it couldâve been anything and we didnât want something that we thought was gross. There is no sign indicating what the flavor may even be so when we got to the window I asked what the flavor was and was met with a very rude âitâs a secret family recipeâ Iâm not trying to steal the recipe I just wanted to know a flavor profile before I wasted my money so my friend asked for a simple flavor profile and she said âI donât knowâ so I asked if itâs bubblegum because that was the main flavor I wanted to avoid and she then was able to tell me no and that itâs like a sweet cream. She couldâve told me the actual flavor profile which is quite literally a creamy cotton candy. Nothing special but they make it seem like itâs a secret from the heavens above and that itâs literally âto die forâ. I then started to look at her TikTokâs and realized how rude the owner is and itâs the same lady that took our order. I do not and will not support a business who thinks their shit doesnât stink over a mediocre COTTON CANDY snowball. My friend also tried commenting on their TikTok to answer some people on what the droopys flavor was and she was IMMEDIATELY blocked by the page. So makes sense as to why you only see positive comments on TikTok. I wouldnât support these people, there is absolutely nothing special about this snowball stand. Just get you a cream cotton candy at your local place, I guarantee you it will taste the same without the rude owners...
Read moreI moved to the New Orleans area a little over a year ago. Around January, my TikTok FYP started pulling videos from Droopyâs and I was hooked. I am originally from about an hour outside of New Orleans, so snowballs are nothing new to me. In fact, my mom and I have a thing every summer to try different snowballs. Like the owners of Droopyâs, I still spend my fair share of getting snowballs from other places in the city, but Droopyâs is one of my favorites. Yes, the line is typically longer during the weekend, but I usually go during the week where the line is very short. My husband and I have made a trip to Droopyâs once a week this summer. The ice is so good and takes forever to melt (in a good way) and they donât waste any juice as the snowballs are so juicy. The Droopy is my favorite, but their shakes and other flavors are just as good. I also love that they will let you taste the flavors before your order, no matter how busy they are. I love being able to support Droopyâs and other snowball stands in the area. Snowballs make Louisiana part...
Read moreI have seen countless rude comments and countless rude posts in their social media⌠HOW DOES AN OWNER ANSWER AN UNHAPPY CUSTOMER LIKE THIS?! No, I didnât write that review but just reading it and Brandonâs response is SO unprofessional and this will be the downfall to your business. A company will always get bad or good reviews⌠learn to accept them all and to reply professionally. Stop getting your âfansâ to write your reviews. Every time you get a bad review, you get LOADS of fake reviews to bury the bad one. đ which can work to your advantage but be careful, it can backfire. Not everyone is a fan of your âsecret recipeâ. Itâs NOT the yummiest snowball. The best around is hands down HANSENâS which was the original of the soft ice. đ Iâm a die hard fan of theirs. And I never see negativity coming from them, EVER! Learn to accept criticism guys. And maybe you need a few prayers as well. You preach so much prayer but then are so rude. Makes no sense! I guess Iâll see this posted on fb too since everything else is....
