Robears Snowballs & Soft Serve — Restaurant in Harahan

Robears was amazing! Great place to get snowballs! While they do sell ice cream we only had snowballs. I had a mix of passion fruit and orchid vanilla. My wife had cherry and lemonade.

At this point, I have to make a confession. As a local, we are a bit obsessed with snowballs. We tend to get them at least one per week and make an effort to try various locations throughout the city.

With that said, Robears have my FAV orchard vanilla in the city. Cherry, lemonade, and passion fruit are all good as well and on par with other locations. The orchard vanilla is amazing! Highly recommend!

Whats really sad is that the legacy this snowball stand has is now gone. The chocolate which stood out above any other stand is now gone. The chocolate has been altered. The flavor is not rich and creamy as it once .was. I ordered a chocolate snowball with evaporated milk. When she poured the milk on, i could see it too had been altered. Both watered down. Excellent snowballs. Be prepared to wait in line, it is always packed. Super reasonable prices ( a buck for a small when you just need a quick hit). Wish they had a better parking and maybe a covered place to order. The “Blue Hawaii” coconut, bubble gum and cream is delicious. Now just get the SnoWizard flavors “Toasted Marshmallow” and Red Velvet cake and you all will be perfect on my book!
