You can eat inside but it's given in al lto go plastic etc which is fine, we were just more hoping for a real restaurant feel that evening. Veggies on plates, great, meats tasted good, lo mein noodles were not good at all. They use these really tiny spongy noodles and the sauce wasn't great. I mentioned my daughter didn't care for the food, when they came out and no response, again, other parts of the meal were fine so we just shared the rice and soup, egg drop soup was good, we will say serving sizes were smaller and price was quite high. We go out to eat often and always support local places and honestly as a big girl, it's hard to not impress me so I'm realistic, it was a decent lunch but for the 3 of us, it did cost us almost 90 dollars We bought 1 order of spring rolls(tiny little ones) Sesame chicken with veggies 1 lo mein noodles order 3 waters and 1 hot1tea(waiter did ask 2 times if we needed more refill on thise so great service there) 1 pad Thai Meal total $88 Lunch time...
Read moreI do NOT recommend this place. The chicken tasted microwaved. The rice had pieces of burnt eggs in it with a strong burnt smell and flavor. I noticed it immediately when I got in my car, but I was in a hurry for lunch, so I didn't take time to test the food. I have eaten here before and the food has always been decent. And when you live in Harbor Springs and you need Chinese, it is your only option. (I thought the previous review that states it is the best Chinese in Harbor Springs looked fabricated because it is the ONLY Chinese in H.S.) I called the restaurant to let them know and the owner was apologetic and offered me a store credit. I am not one to be too fussy when it come to takeout, but this experience was really bad. If you go there for takeout, be sure to taste your food before you leave the parking lot.
I ordered Sesame Chicken for take out. It was a little over $12 for a good portion. The woman that took my order was very pleasant and...
Read moreWe stopped here while on a business trip. Was a very small dining room. So small I ended up bumping another costumer when just trying to get my child out of her highchair. The waitress took 10 minutes to get us menus even though we were only one of two tables and no guests were being tended to. When the food arrived my dish, "chicken lo mien", was soaking in a sauce and looked very different from any lo mein I have ever had. The smell was the worst part. I couldn't place it at first. Just knew it was not appetizing. Later my husband said it smelled of urine and ginger. When I looked up what that could be it said it was most likely old fermented seasonings. Yuck! To top it off the waitress never came back after dropping the food. We finally yelled to the back for her to bring the bill. She hovered the table trying to watch us sign our bill and made us very uncomfortable about tipping. I would make a drive to Petoskey and just not...
